What happens is they send you a letter asking you to donate to them, and a paper for the book. I've done it both ways- the first time not sending a donation, the second time doing so, and both times marking the box for the free book. Either way, you will receive the book in the mail. It takes about six weeks to get the letter, and another six weeks to get the book. So I think that's what they mean by "offer." Amy- I’ve done this before.
