Diapers.com: $25 off any $50 order plus free shipping!

I mentioned the incredible Luvs deal at Diapers.com recently, but I know not all of you like Luvs diapers or even use disposable diapers. I failed to clearly mention in that post, though, that you can get $25 off any $50 purchase of diaper products at Diapers.com right now–including cloth diapers or any other brand of diapers you like.

Here’s how to work this deal:

::Set up a new account with Diapers.com (this offer is only valid on new accounts).

::Add any number of diaper products to your cart which total $50.

::Use the promo code SAVEMOM at checkout to get $10 off your order.

::Your out-of-pocket costs will be around $40 after the coupon code and shipping will be free.

::But wait, there’s more! Print and submit this mail-in rebate within four weeks and you’ll get $14.97 back! (The rebate link looks like it’s only a free magazine subscription at first, but scroll down and you’ll read how you can actually just mail it in for a $14.97 check!)

::So when it’s all done and said and you’ve gotten your rebate back, you’ll have paid only around $25 for $50 worth of products! This can make for incredible deals on diapers or cloth diapers!

Great deal but they wouldn’t let me use the code on what I wanted to purchase! It HAD to be diapers, and I am stock full of those!! And I wanted to use BOTH the $10 code and the rebate! :)

Love your blog! Thanks for all the work you do and the helpful tips!!!

Beth Ann February 10, 2010 at 10:31 am

Don’t forget to go thru Ebates!

Amanda February 10, 2010 at 10:53 am

I tried this deal with bottles and baby lotion, but when I put the SAVEMOM coupon code in it did not apply. The error said that I needed to purchase $49 worth of diapers. So, I guess it doesn’t work for other products. Bummer!

Patty February 10, 2010 at 11:45 am

I tried and tried the code. Looks like you need at least $49 of DIAPERS in your cart, and then it takes $10 off. Still not a bad deal!

Jenna February 10, 2010 at 1:18 pm

Thanks for the great tip! I purchased 3 Bum Genius 3.0 diapers and it worked. Now I just have to wait for the rebate check! What a great deal – got them for half the price!

Danielle February 10, 2010 at 1:29 pm

I wouldn’t count on the $14.97 mag rebate. I’ve called 2x about mine (first time customer in October) and still haven’t received it.

cindi March 2, 2010 at 12:03 am

i submitted for a refund back in october as well, but never called. I just figured it was one of those never heard from again rebates :(

So…I was super excited to get my check in the mail last week! have hope, yours still might be coming. However, I wouldn’t do it again…way too long of a wait!!!

Mandy February 10, 2010 at 2:05 pm

You can also get 1%-4% back with ebates! Too bad they don’t have prefolds, I’d be all over that deal!

Nancy February 19, 2010 at 9:03 am

What about Econobum? Thats what I went for.

@Mandy,

Jennifer February 10, 2010 at 2:25 pm

Any idea how long this deal will last? I just picked up a bunch of diapers at Walgreens, but would love to do this once those run low.

Kristy@MyPetSavings.com February 10, 2010 at 2:27 pm

This is a great deal. You can also use code PAMPERS1o to get 500 pampers rewards points and $10 off your order instead of the SAVEMOM code.

@Matt,
Do you know why the promo code “SAVEMOM” is not working on cloth diapers? Like Stacy, I’m trying to order Fuzzibunz (and have well over $49 of diapers in the shopping cart), but it’s saying: You need to purchase $49 of diapers to qualify for referral code.

I’d love to order from diapers.com (first time!) and take advantage of this deal but I’m confused as to why this code is not working for cloth.

Thanks!

Matt February 16, 2010 at 11:38 am

@Megan,
Unfortunately, some of our cloth diaper manufacturers will not allow us to apply these discounts on cloth diapers. But we do offer a Best Online Price Guarantee on them, plus you’ll receive them FREE in 1-2 days. And while you’re shopping, you can fill in on all your other baby needs and have them added to your shipment.

Have you checked out our Green Baby boutique? You may also like some of the products there.

Warm regards,
Matt L

@Matt,

Can you tell me how coupons would work with this? If I mail in coupons before placing my order, would my total need to be $49 before or after the coupons? I need to know how many coupons to send. Diaper coupons are like gold, so I can’t mail off more than I need to. : ) Thanks!

Matt March 2, 2010 at 3:52 pm

@Jennifer, In order to receive free 1-2 day shipping, your subtotal needs to be $49 BEFORE any discounts. So if you ordered $49.01 in product, you’d get free shipping, and then we’d take your coupon discounts off of the subtotal.

Hope that helps! If you need any more clarification, feel free to call us at 1-800-Diapers or CustomerCare@diapers.com.

Regards,
Matt L

Worked for me! I bought a toy, food storage trays, cloth diaper cover, and a sleep sack. It took $10 off. When you sign up for an account, it gives you another referral code for $10/50. Maybe try that one instead? Thanks MSM!

Jennifer February 10, 2010 at 2:41 pm

Thanks for the heads up Danielle. I did the Caregivers Marketplace rebate last year and never received that either. They also didn’t respond to my email. This reminds me it’s about time to check my rebates folder for anything I might be missing.

Jennifer from Caregivers Marketplace February 12, 2010 at 8:35 am

@Jennifer,

Hi Jennifer,
This is Jennifer from The Caregivers Marketplace. I’m not sure how your e-mail to us got lost, but we want to make sure that you receive any rebates you still have coming to you. Our customer care team will be able to look into the status of your rebate. Please call 1-800-888-0889.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Jennifer February 15, 2010 at 2:16 pm

@Jennifer from Caregivers Marketplace,

Well, I tried. She said there was a gap between when Huggies changed the diaper counts in Jumbo packs and when they were approved to give rebates for the new pkgs (different UPCs). My purchase/rebate submission was during that time, so it didn’t qualify. Huggies declined the program for 2010. : ( Although, CM is working on developing a parent-centered program.

Jennifer from Caregivers Marketplace February 15, 2010 at 2:29 pm

@Jennifer,

Hi Jennifer,
I am so glad you called our customer care team. Yes, Huggies did change their package sizes last year, and we did not get permission to add those new sizes to our rebate form until mid-way through the year. We could only provide rebates for those new sizes if the receipts came in after a certain date. Yours must have come in before then.

Also, it is true that Huggies is not involed in Caregivers Marketplace in 2010. Caregivers Marketplace is going back to its roots as a rebate program for those caring for an aging parent or other sick, aging or disabled loved one.

But the good news for parents is that we are working on a rebate program just for parents that should launch mid year! While we don’t yet know which brands will participate, we are getting feedback from lots of moms and dads. So, if you have any ideas for brands or products to include in the new program, please reply with them.

Thanks,
Jennifer

WOW! Thanks for putting together this great scenario. Shop through ebates or shopathome to save even more.

Jenna February 10, 2010 at 5:05 pm

Since there are several who have commented about not receiving a rebate, has anyone had a good experience with receiving their rebate?

Rae February 10, 2010 at 6:10 pm

I never received my rebate either so I wouldn’t hold your breathe on that one

Swap Savers February 10, 2010 at 7:20 pm

You can also use coupons–you can mail the coupons in and get the discount.

Emily February 10, 2010 at 7:44 pm

Just a headsup about using coupons…..they must be mailed in to diapers.com in advance, before you place an order.

Aubrey February 10, 2010 at 9:32 pm

I did this last year when I was pregnant with my first. The rebate took a few months I think, but I did get it and so did my two sisters. Hope this helps!!!

Connie February 10, 2010 at 9:42 pm

One offer per household. In other words, if you already have an account with them you can’t just create a new account with a new email address and use the same home address. Some retailers don’t care, they do.

Stacy February 12, 2010 at 1:06 pm

I tried this deal on three Fuzzi Bunz diapers but it didn’t work. It said you had to purchase $49 worth of diapers to receive the discount. Not sure why it won’t work. I’ve never ordered diapers from them before.

Jen February 19, 2010 at 10:25 am

I order $40 worth of diapers and $10 of wipes (cause I need those now!) – and it took the $10 off…….. it works out, with the rebate, to the same price as the small package of store brand Walmart diapers BUT I got Seventh Generation diapers and basically a free 5-refill box of Huggies wipes……..
