You mean “rinse” coupon… not rice, right?
The Crest Rinse coupon in P&G 2/7 is for 440 ml or larger. The Rinse on sale is for 14.8 oz. Will not work.
Happy Valentines Day! Thanks for sharig all the deals!
Meg
I’ll start by saying I am new to the drugstore thing. I tried the Gillette razor deal and was turned down. The $3 coupon specifies that you need to buy an 8 pack, and it’s the 3 packs on sale at CVS. I always run into trouble at my CVS, though.
Also, I’m wondering if others have ever run into something like this: I did the Cover Girl makeup deal today (buy2, get $5 eCB and the b1g1 coupon) and one of the CG products didn’t ring correctly, nor did it trigger the ECBs. It was signed in the store, however. It was Simply Ageless foundation, while the ad says concealer/corrector. The packages and products look identical, and no item in the store was a corrector or concealer.. The cashier did a price adjustment to $10 for me and then hand forced the $5 ECBs. However, I had used a double ECB coupon and should have gotten $10 ECBs. She said that the company’s policy is that they don’t honor things they’ve signed incorrectly, so really I should have gotten nothing at all and I was lucky to get the $5. I was stunned by her rudeness. My question, after all that, is this common practice?
I did get the Aussie deal and the Coke and DiGiorno sales are just good prices in general.
I love that ECBs have a longer expiration date than Walgreens. I think that I’ll stop in this week so I can do the easy freebies and also pick-u some of the 50% off Valentines stuff.
Thanks for posting the Cover Girl deal. I would have missed that one if I hadnt seen it here.
It will work the 14.8 oz is 440ml the crest coupon. I’ve been playing thiscvs walgreens game for a couple of week now andits working well for me honestly depends on the cshier and remember pay attention to the coupon limitations alot of them say one per purchase. Thats what happened to me on the excedrin deal last week. And I try to buy stuff I can use and if the sale are good sale prices and almost always use coupons.
Sorry – I’m a dork and just put my Fred Meyer post here.
Crystal,
I am sorry I messed up and accidently linked to the blog instead of the post. I tried to do it again for the .26 cent shopping trip to CVS, but it didn’t work. I just didn’t know if you could delete the wrong one and put the .26 cent on in.
