‘Free’ would be very YMMV in our neck of the woods. My Kroger is very coupon friendly, but they’d take off the discounted price of .49, not the full price of .99. So it would still be .49 for two–still a great deal!

@LittleMissKnowitAll,
Heather,

I got some of these today at Kroger’s for free. They are in the mega sale. .99 -.50 mega =.49 x 2 = .98 BIG1 takes off .99 cents
Both at the Union and Mall Stores.

My husband is so excited about all the money I saved at Kroger last night that he is going this morning to do this deal…

4 LaVictoria Salsas $2.49/each
4 SoBe Waters $0.99/each
2 Pepsi 2 Liters $1.29/each
Total $16.50

Then:
Buy 10 participating products get $5 off your total
use 2 $4/2 Q for LaVictoria
use 2 B2G1 for SoBe water
Making it $1.52 + tax

Great deal!

@Christine,

Whoops! I meant B1G1 on the SoBe waters. :)

At one of my Kroger this morning the manager took my coupons for I Can’t Believe It Not Butter $1.00 , Keebler $1.00 cheesecake Fudge cookie (we tried the cookies and didn’t care for them), and the B1G1 free coupon for Sobe water to the office and came back to tell me they are fakes. He said he entered each in a website called verify.com. I can’t find the website. He said they are getting a lot of fake coupons. I don’t think these coupons are fake. Anyone know for a website to check for fakes? Thanks

@Nancy,

The only website I know of is one for counterfeit coupons and it is

http://www.cents-off.com/index.cfm

This has a cashier corner where you can look up the latest counterfeit coupons listed. I couldn’t find anything on the coupons you mentioned. This is the same site that sends the retailer information on conterfeit coupons. I just retired from 20 years of service with Wal-Mart and I worked in the accounting office where we processed coupons. This is the only site we would go to if we felt we were getting coupons that “were not good”

Nancy the website is http://www.couponsinc.com/crc/index.asp
It is called Veri-FI and is owned by Coupons.com. I printed out a coupon on the Keebbler this morning and checked the code and it said it was invalid as well. I would be wary of coupons coming through bricks or links and check them before redeeming. The one for the $1 off Quaker oatmeal link that was floating around back on January 11, 2010 (and still active) also comes up as invalid my Albertsons rejected all of mine even the ones from Quakeroats.com because they all look the same. They didn’t veri-fi them. The ones printed from the Quaker website with the “create your day” ARE VALID. It is possible that the links that people had problems with needing to install the coupon printed again are the ones that are bad. Just my opinion.

Even the latest coupons from Kraft’s website are coming up invalid. Am I missing something? It is because it is a coupon from brick’s? I printed out the sobe coupons from their huge ad on yahoo.com home page and those are also coming up invalid…

I went to the website Wifeeonline listed (http://www.couponsinc.com/crc/index.asp) and I checked my Sobe coupons that I just printed and they are listed as Valid. You have to make sure you input the numbers from the bar code that is in the upper right of the coupon (under the exp date and to the right of the B1G1f wording). When you input the other bar code numbers it comes up Invalid. There is also a picture showing you which number to enter.

My local Bi-Lo had these on sale for $0.88 so I “could” have gotten them for $0.44 each had I remembered the coupon. :( Still a good deal though.
