I looked at the Rite Aid ad last night and noticed that the Aveeno and Lubriderm in-ad coupons are actually labeled “Manufacturer’s Coupons.” Therefore, I doubt you will be able to combine them with other mfr coupons. Bummer, though – let me know if I’m wrong!

Carrie, you can use the Rite Aid coupons with manufacturer’s coupons – they still consider them Rite Aid coupons. BUT you can only use one Rite Aid coupon per item per transaction. I went to Rite Aid twice today and here’s what I got:
#1
Lightbulbs – $2
Theraflu – 4.99
Contac – 4.99
Cottonelle 4pk – 1.99
Lubriderm lotion – 4.29
Aveno lotion – 3.49
Clean & Clear cleanser – 4.99
Subtotal – $26.74
Minus $5/$25 Rite Aid, .50 Cottonelle MFR, .50 Cottonelle RA, $2 Contac, $2 Theraflu, $2 Clean & Clear, $2 Aveeno, $2 Lubriderm, $1 RA Lubriderm, $1 RA Aveeno, $1 RA Clean & Clear
= $7.74 OOP

#2
Cottonelle – 1.99
Lubriderm – 4.29
Aveeno Lotion – 3.49
Clean & Clear Astringent – 4.99
Aveeno Shampoo – 6.99
Subtotal – $21.75
Minus $5/$20, .50 Cottonelle mfr & RA, $1 Aveeno Hair RA, $2.50 Aveeno Shampoo, $1 Lubriderm RA, $2 Lubriderm, $2 Aveeno lotion, $1 Aveeno RA, $1 Clean & Clear RA, $2 Clean & Clear
=3.25 OOP

Total = $10.99 OOP – $9.99 SCR and $10 J&J Rebate = $9 moneymaker!

Carrie, I believe you are correct. I purchased a 6oz Lubriderm ($4.29), and had a $2 internet coupon. I also tried to use the $1 in-ad coupon, but was told by the cashier that I couldn’t use them at the same time because were both manufacturer coupons. Oh well. I still got the Lubriderm for $2.19, which is not bad.

Carrie,

All of Rite Aid’s in-ad coupons are labeled maunfacturer’s coupons.

Rite Aid’s coupon policy says:

 Rite Aid accepts manufacturer coupons and Rite Aid coupons for the purchase of a single item. However, no coupon’s redemption amount can ever exceed the price of the item.
 Only one manufacturer coupon is accepted for each product, unless coupled with another manufacturer coupon found in a Rite Aid circular.

That policy can be found here:

THANKS!!!

Eulaha,

Your cashier didn’t do the right thing in accordance with her store’s coupon policy. Next time you try to use an in-ad and manufacturer’s coupon together, take a copy of the coupon policy with you.

This cashier was totally wrong not only according to the coupon policy, but if you look on the in-ad coupons, they actually point you towards finding additional man. coupons. They wouldn’t do this in the ad if they didn’t intend for you to use both. Of course, your cashier can say whatever they want, I guess, but sounds like you got a stinker. :)

For what Alaine posted, I’m not sure it’s going to work, since the rebate form says “receipt”, not “receipts”.
