Walgreens: Huggies wipes for $0.75 per tub

by Crystal on January 28, 2010

Did you print the $0.75/1 Huggies baby wipes coupon which I posted last week? If so, you can use it to get containers of Huggies wipes for only $0.75 each at Walgreens this week. Here’s how:

Buy 1 Huggies wipes tub at $2.50
Use the $1/1 Walgreens Huggies Coupon from the in-store Flyer (100 in Savings)
Use 1 of the $0.75/1 Huggies Wipes Coupons that were available on Coupons.com last week (or, use $0.50/1 Huggies Baby Wipes from the 1/7 SmartSource insert)
$0.75 after coupons

There is also a Register Reward Deal running through Saturday: Spend $25, Get $5 in Register Rewards. If your store had plenty of wipes in stock and you had lots of coupons, you could buy 10 for $25, spend $7.50 plus tax out of pocket, and get back a $5 Register Reward!

My Kroger stores currently have the Huggies tubs on sale for $2.59. Pair the sale with two $.50/1 coupons from (I think) the 1/3 inserts, and load the $1/2 Upromise ecoupon to your shoppers card . . . after sale, coupons and Upromise deposit, the tubs are $1.09 each. A little more than $.75, but still only about $.015/wipe.

I also came up with a scenario using this coupon that will get you 2 packs of diapers and 3 tubs of wipes for $11.23! http://thriftyjenny.blogspot.com/2010/01/walgreens-huggies-wipes-075-pack.html

Can you tell me where the WAGS $1 coupon is? Is it in the January book or the weekly flyer?

Thanks!

Could you clarify which “in store flyer” you mean? It’s not the weekly ad – are you talking about the brochure that comes out each month?

Where would I find the “100 in Savings” flyer?

7 Moira-Lin January 28, 2010 at 9:29 am

What is the in store flyer? That isn’t the January coupon book is it?

Oh I want that in-store Wag’s coupon!!! I hope that I can find that… THANK YOU!

What is the in store flyer (100 in savings)? Does is work on Huggies diapers too?

10 Allison January 28, 2010 at 10:43 am

Ouch! I never thought to do the math on baby wipes before, just diapers! I love the Target Up & Up wipes, so they cost me about…(doing the math as I type)…the same price, if I remember correctly what I paid for them. But I use cloth diapers and washrags for wipes a lot, so it’s kinda a moot point….
Still, if I make it to Walgreen’s this week, I’ll pick some up!

I use the .75 off of Huggies wipes at our Wegmans Grocery Store. They are regularly priced at 2.19, since they double up to .99 I got wipes for .69!!!!!

Sorry for the stupid question (I’m new at this, and I don’t do Walgreen’s often). You mentioned the $1/1 from the in-store flyer (100 in Savings). What is that? I’m looking at the weekly ad I got in the Sunday paper, and I’m assuming that’s not what you mean because I can’t find a coupon in there for Huggies. Am I just not looking in the right place, or is it right in front of me and I’m just not seeing it? Sorry to bother you.

I’m starting not to like my local Walgreens. I have tried the RR deals combined with my coupons. I did one a few weeks ago on the Lubriderm deal and the RR did not print out even though I bought the necessary amount. They said it would not go through if you use a manufacturer coupon. One or the other. Then last night I ended up having to spend $50 when I only went for 2 cans of formula. I had an Amex Travelers Check and they would not give change back. They would only take it for the full $50 amount. Will be calling to complain.

I checked the in-store flier and didn’t find ANY Huggies coupons. I asked the manager if he had a 100 in savings flier and he looked at me like I had two heads! Can anyone be of assistance here? Where the heck can I find the in store coupon?

16 Jackie January 28, 2010 at 12:43 pm

How can you buy 10 at one time when the coupon says a limit of 2? Just wondering how you do it. Thanks!!

I went to my Walgreens today and the manager said they didn’t know anything about it but maybe something would come on Sunday.

The stores in my area if I have a wags coupon and a man q for a tub of wipes it will beep because there are more cpns than items…I do the man q then wags q. Does anyone else have this problem too?
Thanks!

I also ended up printing the above-mentioned link and they said using that coupon was fine. But as I was loading up my cart (there would have been at least 40 tubs on the shelves) the same woman asked me if there was an item limit on the coupon – when I told her it said “2″ she told me I couldn’t get more than 2 – not even doing separate transactions – just 2 in that entire visit. She said it was to prevent me from emptying the shelves. When I brought her over to show her the shelves would hardly be empty when I left, she didn’t budge. She then proceeded to tell me that the print limit was also to prevent people from getting “too good a deal that would lose Walgreens money” – I was so ticked by this point I wasn’t going to argue with her, so bought two (which was tricky at the front counter with the coupons) and left. I think I will also be boycotting WAGS from now on.

Go to FrugallivingNW and you can print the entire flyer out and take in the coupon you need. I think that is basically what WAGS does. Mine didn’t beep at all. I did 10 wipes used 10 $1/1 huggies wipes coupons from the safeway coupon book(manuQ) and used the walgreens coupon to bring it to 5.00 and got a 5.00 RR!!! Awsome deal!!

I did the benefiber deal (buy $30 in products get $10RR, where I ended up using $24 in coupons (had a $4RR to use too) 6 $2/1 coupons from coupons.com I think and stacked with the Diabetes and you. Then I rolled that RR into the Huggies diapers deal but I bet you could do it with the wipes and get them cheaper. $7.50 for 10 wipes is what I figure. Recieve the $5 RR therefore $2.50 for 10 wipes.

Just a thought. :)
