Dear Money Saving Mom, I just found your site today and am so happy I did. We follow Dave Ramseys plan to be debt free and we budget everything, but I was still looking for more ways to save. Your information was just what I needed! And Harris Teeter is my grocery store here in town! I used your tips and links to coupons and just bought $236 of groceries for $114! I saved so much, the manager had to come and over ride the cashier – thank you so much for the inspiration and opening my eyes to buying with the sales, not with the meal plan!

I had 42 items, paid $37.03 and saved almost 70% of my total bill! I ended up getting 2 bags of BC potatoes, creamer, guacamole, eggs and 2 containers of Lysol wipes for FREE :) . The most $ thing was my Caribou coffee at $3.99 after the coupon. It was crazy yesterday but I am going back for more free stuff. Needless to say I am failing the eat from the pantry challenge BUT it’s hard to pass up nabisco multipacks of cookies for > $1.00 a box ;)
