Ingles is also having this special. Except with only a $4 Catalina with the purchase of 6. They are also having TRIPLE coupons this week!! I bought 6 cans of biscuits & cinnamon rolls both on sale for $1 each and used 4 – 50 cent off coupons. With the coupons being triples that was $6 off my $6 purchase and I got a $4 catalina!!
What is the Safeway coupon book? I shop at Safeway at least a few times a week and I dont think I’ve ever seen a coupon book.
They are running it at BiLo w/ a $4 catalina wyb 6 and it runs for I think 4 weeks. Started here yesterday. I didn’t get anything free but yesterday I did get several tubes of crescent rolls and of pizza crust and italian bread (2 orders, 6 each, at a net cost of .50 a tube.
I’m in PA and they are doing the same catalina deal at Weis and Giant!
Beth-
Do you know of a blog that covers Giant deals?
Ashley- The coupon book is featured at the top of the page in the current ad. You should be able to find it displayed in your store or ask at customer service.
Emily: forthemommas.com does Giant deals every week. You can also look at TheFrugalMap.com that Crystal posted about a few weeks ago under Giant click on PA and you will get a list of local blogs.
Was it one day only?
Any idea how long this is running?
Thanks Charlene. My SIL lives in PA and shops at Giant. I recently started couponing and am trying to teach her what I know, and now I’ll be able to point her in the right directions as far as her grocery matchups go.
I’m looking for a blog that gives a good list weekly for Dillons in the Wichita, Kansas area. MoneySavingMom highlights the GREAT deals when they are available. And SouthernSavers and StretchingABuck give good lists, but theirer both East of me and their prices often vary from mine making it difficult to varify sales and after coupon prices.
Thank you for the heads up on this deal! I’m hoping our store puts them on sale, because this week their still full price.
On another note: I just got back from Dillons. My cousin & I shop together for our families every Thursday! Our total before our Dillons Plus Card was $307.31, after Plus Card (had two coupons on it from internet & $50 off because of buy 10 items get $5 off sale) was $194.44, after coupons $118.23!!!! We got 122 making each item a little less than $1 each!
We also averaged just under 50¢ per item at Walgreens, including 12 Pop, 12 Shampoo, 14 Deodorant, 6 Tostito Chips, 3 Dips, 1 Oatmeal, 2 Olay, 2 Vani Cream (expensive soap for sensitive skin works great but breaks the bank normally it was on sale today!!!) 2 Snickers All for $40 after RR and coupons!! We had a great day but oh was it ever cold for shopping, 23º here in Wichita, KS.
I didn’t mean to speak of your blog that way, I was thinking I was on CommonSenseWithMoney. I appriciate your Dillons lists, but I normally shop their weekly, and I’d like something closer than SouthernSavers. Thank you for all your hard work!!!
