These are both Manufacturers coupons. How do they work together?

Cris December 22, 2009 at 8:22 am

The $3 off is a store coupon! Great deal :)

Teresa December 22, 2009 at 8:50 am

I can’t get the store coupon to print, do they have these coupons in-store?

Jenny December 22, 2009 at 9:10 am

Yes, they do have the coupon in the store, it is not in the regular ad, it is in the photocopy print out, that says $200 worth of coupons on top of it. Hope that helps.

at our Walgreens if you have 2 coupons you must have 2 items so I grapped a small pack of gum. THANKS for the coupon!

Becky December 22, 2009 at 10:00 am

Does anyone know if you can use 1 Wags coupon for multiple items? If I buy 2 and only use 1 Wags coupon, will it take off $6 like other coupons do? Thanks!

I had the same question last night, and it did take off $6 when I purchased two shampoos. Unfortunately, they were not on sale, but priced regularly at $6.99. I still went ahead with the deal and used the $5 off 2 Q and Walg Q. So they ended up being $1.49 each. Still not bad! :)

Crystal: I just made the marshmallow recipe you had a link to the other day. You should try it. They were actually super easy to make. Thanks to the Knox coupon you had posted a few months ago, I already had all of the ingredients! I’m still waiting for them to set up, but I snagged a lick off of the wisk attachment. So good!!! I think your girls would love them with some hot cocoa!

Heather December 22, 2009 at 1:23 pm

These were $6.99 for me too.

Kandi December 22, 2009 at 3:52 pm

$6.99 at my favorite Walgreens. $6.49 at another. I’ll pay 50 cents extra for convenience.

This beeped at 2 different Walgreens for me. One Walgreens would not do it even with a manager’s help. It was the Walgreens coupon that would not work. The second Walgreens had a manager make it work, but the Walgreens coupon beeped. I think the Walgreens coupon may be a manufacturer’s coupon and I know the one from coupons.com is.

Same problem in Arizona…John Freida is priced at 6.99 and walgreens will only accept one of the coupons. walgreens coupon is ringing up as manufacturer coupon too. Tried 2 different stores, same problem. Did not make the purchase.

Only one of the two Walgreens I went to allowed me to do this since the Walgreens coupon states that it is not valid with any other offer. It was also 6.99 not 5.99 but since I was going to get some for $4 at another store for a gift it was a great deal!

I acquired the hairspray with the coupons (tiny little things that looked printed by the store). The hairspray was on sale for 3.59 so with the store 3.00 off coupon it was a deal. The mousse and tiny bottle of shampoo which was attached as a bonus was 6.99 minus the 2.50 and the walgreens 3.00 off coupon. They took both at the cosmetics counter. Thanks a million for this – I tried it tonight and it seems to be great.

These were $7.49 for me at my Walgreens. I decided not to buy them since I have plenty of shampoo, conditioner and stylers that I got for next to free or free already. Too bad, I really wanted to try them out.

For those who said they couldn’t get this to work: I learned the hard way, after being denied several times on previous transactions. If you are using 2 coupons (as in this case), you need to buy 2 items…. so, the product plus a pencil or a pack of gum, etc.

Erin December 22, 2009 at 9:42 pm

Tried this and it worked for me…the items were all 6.99 originally (Orlando, FL) but 1.49 seemed like a pretty good deal. The only problem was the other items I got, 2 bags of christmas m&ms, were supposed to be on sale 2/$5 and then an extra $1 from an instant coupon – $1 mfg coupon would be 2/$3. Well the guy at the register forgot to scan the instant coupon so I had to go back in and get a $1 refund. They were nice and didn’t hassle me though so it wasn’t too much trouble.

The John Freda is $6.99 in Cincinnati. Still a great deal. I printed out 2 coupons from Coupons.com and 2 Wags coupons and purchased 2 of the mousse for $1.49 each. The hairspray was on clearance for $3.25, but I have lots of Aussie spray from previous deals so opted for mousse. Thanks for the great savings tip!

I went to walgreens last night evrything was regular priced except the the john frieda hairspray and it was a surprising 3.49 WOW!!!So I purchased 2 hairsprays and used the 3.00 off and the 2.50 off I was able to use both so total I got 8.50 off and had to get a filler to bring my total up.So I actually got 2 free and everyone can use hairspray.

Kelly L-T December 23, 2009 at 12:07 pm

I actually was purchasing other items, but they wouldn’t accept one of the coupons. She told me it had to be for a bigger size. I was purchasing a full size shampoo. I didn’t have the time to haggle and there was a line behind me, so I gave up.

Jennifer December 23, 2009 at 1:22 pm

I went to my walgreens with one 3.00 coupon in hand and one 2.50 coupon in hand. I found the volumizing hairspray for 3.50 each on clearance so I got 2 with the intentions of using one coupon for each and paying 1.50 for the bunch. I got to the register and the 3.00 walgreens coupon rings up for every item you buy according to it so i MADE 1.50! woot!

Gretchen December 23, 2009 at 7:00 pm

So Cal Shopper here – I was hesitant to try the Walgreens coupon, because the fine print states it is a Manufacturer’s coupon. But, I figured I’d give it a try…These are $7.49 for me. I used 2 of the $2.50 off coupons and 2 of the $3 off coupons. $15-$5-$6=$4. So, $2 a bottle! Not bad.

Amy December 24, 2009 at 11:22 am

The $3 off coupon is not available in my area – bummer. But I snagged the Root Awakenings products last week, so I’m not too disappointed.
Thanks anyway!
