Once again, Walgreens is running a hot 4-Day Sale which runs December 9-12, 2009. Thanks to A Thrifty Mom for her help in compiling these deals.
The biggest deal is that they are offering a $5 Register Reward when you spend $25. As before, this $5 Register Reward will likely print for any order that is over $25 (before tax) before coupons. So it can turn out to be a really sweet deal.

I am so glad I saw this msg. on twitter. I am going there tomorrow. Thanks!!
Just going to say, the scunci hair accessories are kinda sad…The ad says “select” ones, but the store I went to said they only ones that were part of the program were three different packages of barrettes…I felt it was kind of misleading, given their huge variety of hair accessories.
I posted a Scenario with these deals where you end up with $75.65 in products for FREE and a PROFIT of $28.33!
I also just got back from shopping there. I spent $14.00, saved $84.95, have $22.00 RR’s left over and will receive a $2.00 Finesse MIR. A great week to shop at Walgreens!
Be sure to check your Walgreen’s before going. I checked a lot of Walgreen’s in Northern Utah and they are not participating in the 4 day sale!
Man, I wish I could use Renu! It messes up my contacts though. Thanks for posting these deals. I don’t get the 4-day sale ad, and I wouldn’t know about it otherwise!
ahhh…such a stressful trip. they denied my stayfree coupon
but great savings, i will say
I live in the Denver, CO area and our Walgreens stores aren’t running the ad either. I asked about it specifically, and the manager made a special call to check it out. He said only certain zip codes are running the ad. The were however doing the 5$RR with 25$ purchase. But it had to be 25$ after coupons and before tax.
I was able to use my $1 stayfree coupon without any problems. And the $5 RR/$25 is printing before the coupons & RRs are taken out. Our WAGS now are limiting items purchased by the same person in the same day/visit. Not sure if this is only effective during the holidays.
Lots of success for me! I get my extra $5 RR and didn’t have any problems with coupons (for once). Yay!
How did you find out about the 4 day sale? I just went to walgreens and the Renu was 11.99, the Stayfree 3.99 and the Conair/Scunci products were full price. I guess I didn’t get very good deals. Can you return stuff if you earned a RR?
MVB, yes you can return the products however you have to submit the register reward when you do.
@Heather<
heather, do you know this from personal experience?
From what I can tell, there is nowhere on the receipt which indicates you received a RR. In addition, even if it was a RR item (and the cashier remembers so), no one can PROVE you received a RR. It is very possible the RR didn't print because you rolled another RR or the catalina wasn't working.
I believe the wording on the RR itself implies that if you purchase something and use a RR to pay for it, when you return it – you forfeit the RR.
Correct me if I am misunderstanding the issue.
