Three-Month Amazon Prime Membership for $1!

I'm so excited about this deal! You can get a three-month membership to Amazon Prime for only $1 right now. My free one-month subscription to Amazon Prime just ended so this is perfect timing!

For those of you (like me!) who earn free Amazon gift cards through Swagbucks, I think this is every bit worth $1. Amazon Prime is a program which gives you
free 2-day shipping on all orders. So not only will you be able to get
your purchases much faster, you'll also be able to get free shipping on
an order of any size–no need to reach the $25 minimum like usual.

To set up your three-month membership, go here and carefully follow the directions listed.

Just a note: Although $1 is not a lot to spend, especially if you do want one of the $1 books, you don’t have to purchase it. You can put it in your cart, then the 3 month free trial option should appear and you can sign up. Then just don’t complete your order. Be sure to turn off your auto upgrade as stated on commonsensewithmoney.

I have been using the Prime shipping program for three years and every year I do not hesitate to purchase it again. As a home educating mom, I’m always buying books and supplies. As a small business owner, I’m constantly upgrading our technology or purchasing items for our office. So, although you can often get free shipping, it’s a no-brainer for our family and I can send presents to others around the country with free shipping as I hate to spend money for shipping!

does this work if I am currently subscribed to a free trial of amazon prime? mine doesn’t expire until mid-Jan….

It says “offer valid through Feb. 5, 2010″ in the fine print on Amazon. Probably subject to change, but that is what it says right now.

I had to log out of my account and then log back in before it would offer me the new free 3 month trial. Just thought I would mention that in case anyone was having trouble finding the ‘free’ offer.

So, when I signed up, I was given a phrase (and the option to change that phrase) to use when ordering. How and when do I use that? I’m so confused!
