This is so great! I found one of these coupons in a free magazine and used it to buy a beautiful photo frame vase that was on the clearance shelf and paid just $1.06! What a great coupon!

I just printed the coupon. It has specific intructions to the cashier; one says “Verify the customer has made a purchase of $5 or more” so it looks like you need to find an item or items that totals at least $5.

Does anyone know if this will print in grayscale? I do not usually keep color ink in my printer.

4 Brandy December 4, 2009 at 8:34 pm

My coupon also states for the retailer to verify that the consumer has made a purchase totaling $5.00 or more.

Thanks so much! I have a willow tree purchase to make for Christmas and this will help! :)

6 Jenn December 4, 2009 at 8:54 pm

Jennifer, it should print in grayscale…I used to always print mine off that way to save my colored ink (or I never had colored ink in my printer).

7 Susanne December 4, 2009 at 9:10 pm

yes! It does print in grayscale. This is an awesome coupon! :)

8 Rose M December 4, 2009 at 9:26 pm

Thanks so much. Need a couple of things from the Hallmark store.

9 The Prudent Homemaker December 4, 2009 at 9:29 pm

Jennifer,

I don’t have a color printer. I print all of my internet coupons in black and white. I haven’t had problems with any in the past because of it.

10 Nelly December 4, 2009 at 9:46 pm

No need for a good printer. I used my old black/white and they accepted it.

Thanks for the coupon code!! :)

12 cindy December 4, 2009 at 9:56 pm

do we need to have Crown Reward card to use this coupon?

13 Bridget December 4, 2009 at 10:18 pm

What a blessing. Thanks! And it’s letting me print it twice.

14 The Prudent Homemaker December 4, 2009 at 10:19 pm

Cindy,

It says on the instructions to the cashier to scan the Crown Rewards card IF APPLICABLE, so I don’t think we have to have one.

I had one of these coupons from Real Simple magazine and I used it to buy 2 rolls of wrapping paper for a dollar plus tax. They have been running a deal on wrapping paper buy one at $4.99 get one for a $1. Plus it is the really good wrapping paper and you get quite a bit per roll. It has actually been the best deal I’ve found on wrapping paper this year. Hope this helps.

18 Amy Ramage December 4, 2009 at 11:29 pm

Thanks, printed 2! :)

Not surprised that Hallmark has been offering so many deals lately. I had read an article a few months back about how the popularity of Hallmark Ornament collecting is declining. Can’t say if that is really true or not as I don’t know.

36 Char December 6, 2009 at 8:12 pm

I tried using one of these yesterday and they told me it was a fraud coupon. =( How do you know if it’s legit or not?

37 Jennifer December 7, 2009 at 1:42 pm

Printed mine today! I was able to print off 2, can’t wait to go shopping! I love this website. Thanks so much!

38 The Prudent Homemaker December 8, 2009 at 9:37 pm

I went today. They have a few of their thank you cards for $5 exactly (the others are $7.50 and up). This is a box of 10. The $5 ones have close-up pictures of a single type of flower each on a white background, and they say “thank you” on the front.

I got one, and I spent .41 in tax for it.

I am going to go back with the other coupon and do it again, and get a different flower. Then I am going to mix the packages and give some to my daughter for her birthday or Christmas.

39 Louann December 11, 2009 at 1:02 pm

Char, did you just print off that page, or did you click the Print button in the middle of the picture to go to another page to print?

The manager was very nasty to me. Said that I have to use it only on Hallmark product in the store (only wrapping paper, postcards or ornaments). When I went there second time he remembered me and said, this is the last time I am there with coupon. I wanted to say: “NO I have 4 more left”. (We happened to have 3 computers, LOL, but I was quiet)

41 Katie December 18, 2009 at 5:40 pm

I let my boys go pick out something and they decided on buying 11 of the Russell Stovers chocolate santas ($0.49 each). It was only $0.39 for all 11 of them! YUMMY!!!

42 Peter February 7, 2010 at 12:57 pm

That is excellent! I love chocolate AND I love saving money = THANKS!
