My friend, Lorrie, found apples at Target priced at $1 per pound. If they are priced the same at your Target, you can buy two pounds and use the $1 off 2 pounds coupon here to get them for $0.50 per pound–which is about the best price we ever see on apples in these parts.

WalMart has the Red Delicious and Granny Smith priced at $0.50 /lb also!
These are good prices on apples. Another better deal is at the Aldis in the Atlanta area: 3 lbs for $1.19, which is only 40c/lb, no coupon required.
CA finally has something cheaper.
Got granny smiths for $.39/# recently.
Just returned and didn’t find $1 apples, but the Honey Crisps were on sale for $1.49/lb. I was happy to buy 2lbs of these delicious apples and only pay .87/lb! The produce clerk even offered me a 2nd coupon from her desk so we ended up getting 4lbs!! whoo hoo!
