Our Meijer (Northwestern Indiana) is running a special when you buy 3 of the Betty Crocker cookie pouches, you get a free dozen large eggs! It’s an even sweeter deal!

Should have added that you get a catalina at checkout for the free dozen eggs. I just did my cookie mixes in the first order and bought the eggs in my second. Just put a divider between my orders – easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.

I bought 3 Betty Crocker Frostings and I got 2 cartons of eggs!!! I’m not sure why, but hey I’m not complaining! Here are the deals I got at Meijer already. http://couponomicstimuluspackage.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-grocery-bargains-for-week-so-far.html

I think when you run the Meijer specials you should include a memo at the top that says Not all stores double. IN fact most don’t. So I get all happy for a deal and then realize, oh they can double their coupons and I can’t.

even if your Meijer’s doubles their coupons, the biggest issue is the limit- if they’re doubling they will only double the same coupon twice- so the frosting deal for instance doesn’t work quite as smoothly.

My walmart has riverside brand frozen turkeys for 40 cents a pound! Limit of 2. I bought two 13 pounders for about $5 each! Butterball and Honeysuckle are on sale too but not as great of a deal.

My Meijer doubles, and usually I never have a problem, I always am careful to read and follow the rules. Usually, even when the coupon states “Do not double or triple”, when it is scanned, it doubles anyways. I went this weekend to do the frosting/cookies/warm delights and had major issues. The cashier was mean and even called the manager. They stated that they would have to put the coupons in manually since they were doubling and shouldn’t have been. I told them I’ve never had issues before and that their ad clearly states double up to 50 cents. I wasn’t too angry, since the coupon did state do not double, but then they wouldn’t even double my regular coupons. I had $50-$60 in coupons and was running out of time, so I couldn’t go to the service desk. I didn’t think it would do much good since the manager had already been contacted. Anyone else having this issue with these specific printables?
