Here's another great idea for a free Christmas gift! Page 3 of yesterday's edition of USA Weekend (November 15, 2009) has a coupon for Buy One Hasbro Card Game, Get One Free (up to $6.99). Kroger stores have Hasbro card games on sale Buy One, Get One free.
Buy 2 Hasbro card games for $6.99 or less and use one BOGO coupon and you'll get both free since the store sale will give you one free and the coupon will give you one free!

Most Kroger stores price their BOGO sales at half price per item, rather than an actual freebie. This deal wouldn’t quite work like this. You’ll pay half price for one and get the second free, which is still a great deal for stocking stuffers!
Awesome! Thanks I will be heading to Kroger for sure now this week! Great Stocking Stuffers for the kids!

I tried to sign up and it said that my birth date is not a valid date. : (
Is there a way to get this coupon if you don’t get that paper?
On the Target coupon generator there is also a coupon
for BOGO for these card games.
Also I want to say thanks for all your hard work on this site……I love it and check it out several times a day for all the great deals you find!
Have a great day!
I did not have a parade in my paper this weekend
How do you get this paper, can you get it at the store or is it only on-line? I’ve never heard of this before. Thanks
At my Kroger all the games I’ve seen start at $19.99. So it would be cheap games, but not free.

Money Saving Mom here: It’s only for card games, not boxed games, so hopefully some of those should be priced at $6.99.
My Kroger(SW Virginia) had these games for $5.23 a couple of weeks ago. I picked them up then(sigh). If I can pick them up for free though I may go and get a couple to put in a toys for tots or give to our Christmas Store. I thought about the shoebox project but these aren’t super super simple games and the instructions are in English so that might complicate things. So I am up in the air on it.
I just got 6 of these free at Kroger. Thought they would be 2 for $2.99 with the BOGO but the coupon scanned for $5.99 off. I even asked about it and they said it was programmed in so there was nothing they could do! I did have to ask to find the game and there weren’t very many so it will go fast!
YMMV: Sales for bogo items ring up at half price at most Kroger, so this would not result in free games. Still a good deal at two games for half price, though.
i thought kroger wasnt really b1g1 it was half price.. wouldnt this then cost like 2.50 for two gamews??? just wondering thank you for all you do
Does anyone know if this deal is at Dillon’s as well?
I just got back from doing this at my store and I ended up getting them both for free! I’m in Michigan.
My area must not be participating. I went to try to get the deal and they did not ring up and BOGO. So I looked at the ad and it was not even in there. What area do you live in? I was sooo hoping for this deal because it would be a great gift!
What is USA Weekend?
This offer is not running at the Kroger’s in the Indianapolis, IN area.
Great! I was wondering where I could get the card games! I hope my Kroger has them.
Where are these games located in Kroger? I went to mine tonight (TN) and saw the board games that they had in the front of the store, but didn’t see the card games. I also checked the magazine and school supply aisle.
For those of you who can’t find the games – my Kroger did a raincheck for me.
I went to my Kroger last night…they didnt have the card games from Hasbro. The only card game they had was UNO and that is by Matel! I live in the OH. ANyone from Ohio have any luck??
I went and kinda made a fuss. They do ring up as half off, so I was still going to have to pay $2.75 for the 2 games, which admittedly is a good deal. However, I pointed out to them that is not BOGO – it is buy two, get them 50% off. The check out guy kept saying, well, if we put $5.99, on it, then we are committing coupon fraud. To which I said, well, if you don’t give me these, then you are committing false advertising because I am not getting buy one, get one free; I’m getting buy two, get 50% off. They are supposed to check with the manager and get back to me. I’d probably still get them, but it bugs me.
Good for all those that this deal is working for, but for those who have nothing better to do than “make a fuss” over a couple of dollars, I have to say shame on you. What good does it do to make things difficult for the store and the employees? I know we all would like to save money where we can but let’s be nice about it, especially now that the holidays are quickly approaching, and be thankful for what we have! *stepping off my soapbox now*
I’ve made “fusses” before, and not to give stores and employees grief, but to be sure that coupons, ads, etc are honored. I don’t feel bad about it. The stores will get reimbursed from the manufacturers as weel. A “couple of dollars” adds up around here, and I need all the help I can get. BOGO’s are hard to come by, and I don’t always “need” the free item, but if it’s supposed to be “free” then I’ll take it, even if a “fuss” has to get me there.
Did anyone find these in TN??
I just went to my Kroger outside of Monroe Mi and the cashier and the csr both told me I could not use the BOGO with the BOGO coupon. They were very rude because it would have made them free. Has anyone had this issue- no wonder there were so many left at that store. Also I searched the site for a Kroger coupon policy and I could not find one. Any advice would be appreciated
I’m in Ohio, and at our Kroger (I’ve checked with 2 locations near me) the only games that are BOGO are the board games. Darn…I was so excited to get these games, cheap.
Okay, I went ahead and tried one more Kroger, and they have them!!! For those in Central Ohio, the Kroger on Hoover Road in Grove City has the card games in stock and on sale!
My Kroger would not let me do this deal either. 2 employees were really rude to me about it even though I was very nice and friendly. The manager was nice about it, but none of them could state the coupon policy. I called the customer service line and was informed that the policy is that you cannot use a coupon to pay for an item. I informed her that some of the stores apparently were allowing this and I never would’ve tried to dispute the coupon policy had I known that. I am still going to submit a complaint about how the employees treated me and were unable to explain the coupon policy.
