I posted back in October about Little Debbie giving away 125,000 boxes of cupcakes. Well guess what arrived in my mailbox yesterday? A coupon for a free box of Little Debbie Cupcakes!
Now, for some of you who win stuff all the time (like my friend Amy who seems to win something just about every single week!), this might not seem too exciting. But for me–a person who has pretty much never won a giveaway of any sort in her life–it was very exciting! (We won't mention the fact that there were 125,000 winners so the odds were a little in my favor!)
It's only a free box of Little Debbie Cupcakes and I'll just be buying them and sharing them with friends, but the fact that I won, inspired me to consider trying my hand at more giveaways.
Maybe, just maybe, the tide is going to start turning. Probably not, but I'm going to be paying a lot closer attention to the giveaways posted over at Sweetie's Sweeps regardless.
Who knows? Maybe I'll win a truck next!

I got mine on Saturday, it’s it exciting. I completely forgot about it. My younger brothers and sisters are going to really enjoy these over Thanksgiving!
Ok, now that is too funny. But I am with you. I never win either and when I finally won something at a ladies retreat it was for a back massage. The ladies went crazy and I sighed….I don’t really do back massages. It was funny.

I have Freebies4Mom’s list of sweeps bookmarked, and try to enter at least a few of them several times a week. In the past year I have won gift cards from Nabisco, Wendy’s, Coke, and Kohl’s, as well as free product coupons from Pace, Dole, and now Little Debbie, and more. But that’s not all. . .
Just last week I won a $1000 Home Depot gift card from the Wendy’s Home Makeover sweeps!! It’s the first time I’ve ever won anything big enough to have to overnight a notarized affidavit to confirm my eligibility. I was nervous that my letter wouldn’t make it in time or I’d be disqualified for some reason or another, but it’s been approved and will hopefully show up soon.
So yes, spending a few extra minutes a couple times a week can pay off, thanks to Freebies4Mom and Sweetie’s Sweeps!

Yay, you! You really ought to try to find time to enter some giveaways. Our Christmas is going to be free this year thanks to giveaways, and I’ve got some serious loot for the kids. All told, I’ve won about $6000 worth of stuff this year. You probably wouldn’t have time to do that, but I’ve made something of a supplemental income out of it. Food is my favorite thing to win. Well, and the occasional laptop!

A win is a win is a win they say. Congratulations on yours Crystal. I guess I like winning prizes more than saving money on groceries but I bet you save as money as I do with my wins so it all works out about even. And, winning takes patience and time. What you do gets immediate results. But, hey, it’s all good right
I just won my second trip of the year. My son is going to the SEC Football Championship with Dad VIP style next week and he’s thrilled. And, in two weeks we leave for our trip to Florida. I definitely love winning sweepstakes and it’s been a very good year – about $14,000 total in prizes.
