Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving? We sure did! I left my computer shut and just enjoyed lots of quiet, relaxing family time!
And this morning I chose sleep over the Black Friday shopping madness. There just weren’t many deals worth getting excited about, in my opinion.
However, I am going to be doing a little online shopping today. The deals are just as good (or better!) at many stores for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you can shop in your pajamas, you don’t have to deal with crowds and long lines, and Ebates is offering huge cashback rebates just for today and Monday.
I’ll be highlighting a few of my favorite online deals for Black Friday over the next few hours for those of you who’ve opted to stay home today. Enjoy!

I’m only going out to get a prescrip and my Borders order. Other than this… online shopping for me too. I’m on Ace Hardware’s site now trying to see what I want for 50% off tomorrow.
Have a continued blessed holiday season!!
I am right there with you. The thought of leaving the house just makes me cringe. LOL! I am an online girl also unless it is Kroger or Meijer for food deals.
I do almost all of my shopping online now. It is so convenient and there are no long lines and crowds to fight!
I agree. I just ordered my husband two suits from JOS.A. Bank for a total of 274.00 (each suit is usually 550.00) with free shipping! Plus, according to shop at home’s website, I should get 18% back! That’s like $50 back! Yea! Oh, and yeah… I am actually still sitting in my pj’s.
We don’t usually do Black Friday but this year my husband and I ventured out. We had loads of fun together and snagged a lot of great deals too! Now to see what I can get from the comfort of my home !
i did online shopping at kohl’s! besides their website being overloaded and it taking forever, i got some really awesome deals! there is a coupon (TURKEY15) that gives you 15% off your total order, on top of the black friday sales, you get $10 kohl’s cash for every $50 you spend, and there’s free shipping on orders over $100 (but there is some sort of processing fee). all in all a great deal!
Every year my husband and I go out and cash in on the best deals we find, but this year was not as exciting. We got up early this morning and went to Walmart and picked up a few things (PJ’s, DVDs) and price matched some Leapster games from Target but we were done really quickly.
I have to admit that I love the rush and all the people as long as they aren’t all grumpy and my husband and I have a great time shopping together. But I did about half of my shopping online so I didn’t have to venture out to Toys R Us
It just doesn’t make good sense to go out shopping anymore, unless it’s for food/toiletries, with all the hot deals online!! I did some major shopping online this morning while two of my older ones braved the stores. When I saw what they nabbed, I just grinned knowing that I got the better deals, by far.
Ebates.com is just my new best friend this year too!!

For those of you with little Lego fanatics, legoshop.com is having some great deals today

This is the first Black Friday I went out in four years. I only went out to return a Wii game we purchased on vacation.
This particular Wal-Mart was quite busy at 11 am. We returned the game, purchased two $2 DVDs and left.
I, too, do all my shopping online.
I’m with you – no black Friday trip for me. I can’t stand the crowds. On-line shopping all the way for me!
You’re not kidding about ebates! Ordering from Shoes.com (which always has free shiping) is 16% back today–double the normal amount. There is double cashback with several stores through there.
I love reading about al the good deals everyone is getting to day but my family and I took a day off to play in the sun and have some fun. Best part is there is no cost.
I am looking for the deals for Monday and do NOT see them. Where are they?
You really don’t need to fear Black Friday! This was the first year I ever went shopping on Black Friday and I had a great experience! I took my 3 year old and we hit Target at about 9am. I still got all the awesome deals that I wanted without the huge crowds and every checkout lane was open so I never even had to wait in line! Then we hit Fashion Bug and I got my $20 winter jacket!
