140 custom Holiday Address Labels for $3 shipped and 100 postcards for $6 shipped (back again!)

Holiday-labels-300x155

I posted this great deal for labels last week and then had to pull the post because I was sending so much traffic that VistaPrint asked for me to remove it temporarily because we overwhelmed them with traffic. You all knew a good deal when you saw one and we totally blew them away with all the orders!

I've since worked things out and been able to get a different link so if you were wanting to jump on this deal and didn't get a chance to when I posted it before, you have another chance! Here are the details:

If you're planning to send out Christmas cards this year, or just enjoy have festive address labels, you can get a great deal on them through VistaPrint right now.

::Just click here and go to the left hand side of page.

::Under "Home & Family" choose "Holiday".

::Design your labels and checkout.

::You should get 140 labels for free and only pay around $3 total for shipping.

If
you like to send Christmas cards each year, but you're looking for an
inexpensive alternative to regular Christmas cards, you can get 100
custom Holiday cards for only approximately $6 shipped. Here's how:

::Just click here and click on the 100 free postcards offer.

::Search for holiday postcards or choose to upload your own photo or design.

::Design and customize your postcards.

::You should get 100 postcards for free and only pay around $6 total for shipping.

If
you'd prefer to send a card than a postcard, you could stick the
postcards in envelopes (just add on coordinating envelopes to your
order for around $3.75). Plus, you could order matching address labels to go with them–all for around $13 total (well, the stamps aren't included!).

You
could also design these postcards as gift tags for homemade gifts,
goodies, or gift baskets. Or for all your gifts, for that matter!

There is an edit function where you can edit the name and address of the address labels, both the wording and the placement.
I changed it to This book belongs to granddaughter’s name so she could have book labels for her books. Then I realized she doesn’t have 140 books so reedited it to This belongs to granddaughter’s name so she could use them for books, school stuff, whatever. Will use for stocking stuffer.

My shipping charges appear as $8.62. Must be where I live? PA. Oh, well, so cute, but not worth $8.62.

I ordered 140 of those super cute return address labels AND I custom made 140 more gift labels for Christmas gifts. I only paid $4.83 for the expedited shipping for both. I’m so excited to get them! Before I added on the gift labels, shipping would have been 3.59 so it was only 1.24 for the extra labels for Christmas.

I love it! I also got a free pen, free rubber stamp and free to/from labels (only paid shipping) so for 280 labels (return and to/from), a pen (personalized!) and a return address rubber stamp I paid $12.85 – not too shabby in my opinion!

Fyi for larger families…there is a limit of 7 characters on the address label. I ended up not ordering because I couldn’t figure out which children to leave off. :-)

thanks for posting this! I went through the steps listed and chose to get the photo address return labels, however at checkout I noticed I would be charged an additional $2.49 so I just removed that item and went through again (vista print saved the address so I didn’t need to retype anything!) and chose the regular return labels, I was able to get a pretty one that is not only for Christmas so it lasts longer. Everything shipped it only cost me $3.15 total! I’m using this as part of a Christmas gift, thanks so much :)

[Reply]

28 Sophia October 27, 2009 at 10:59 pm

I chose a neutral theme, so I can use it all winter and into spring. It isn’t likely I’ll use up all of them before Christmas!! Shipping was $3.45 for me, for the “medium” speed. Cheapest was $3.15

Beware – I did this a few years back and I started getting dinged a monthly charge on my credit card. They claimed I agreed to something (in the fine print). It was a hassle and I don’t think I got my money back. Hope it’s different now!

I personally have ordered from VistaPrint multiple times and have never had an issue, which is why I feel very comfortable promoting them.

32 The Prudent Homemaker October 28, 2009 at 8:15 am

Their “slow” shipping is often much quicker than they say it is.

My husband orders from them for his business cards for his company for all of his employees. We have ordered baby announcements from them before; we made custom postcards when they had a free postcard deal and cut them down to size. They have even better free and discounted deals once you order from them that they send you by email.

I have always wanted some of these cute family caricature labels, but never wanted to pay the high prices asked by stationary.com and our local trendy print shops.
Thanks to you, M.S.M., I deisgned some adorable ones for only $3.53 shipping! Yippee!

34 Milk Donor Mama October 28, 2009 at 8:37 am

I order from VistaPrint once or twice per year- they offer free business cards, notepads, totebags, hats, teeshirts, calendars, magnets, invitations, postcards and on and on. The shipping does seem high but for $25 or so I can get all the stationary I could ever want, plus stocking stuffers or grandma/grandpa gifts. It’s worthwhile. I’ve never noticed any phantom charges from them and I’ve ordered from them for at least 3 years now.

I ordered one set of 140 Christmas labels and one set of 140 “This belongs to” labels as a previous poster suggested. These will be perfect for my little guy when he starts school. For both sets shipping was $4.59 for Priority shipping. (It was only another $.50 more than the slowest shipping.) These Christmas labels will last me for a few years.

I also forgot to say that since they accept payments through Paypal I used the credit in my Paypal account to get these completely free! Can’t beat that!

I went directly to the site and it was free. Through Ebates, it appears you get 6% back, but they are $1.49. Is there a way to get them free through Ebates?

I made a postcard into our Christmas card and am so thrilled! I wanted to cut back on Christmas card costs this year and this fit the bill perfectly. I added a family picture and was charged an extra $4.99 to upload a photo, but for under $11 including shippin, it is well worth the 100 postcards (that I will send as postcards to save on postage too!) Thanks!!

I opted for the fastest shipping ($3.59 total), in the event that it would be a while until they came. No worries…they were here within a few days! I was pleased—yeah, they were small-ish, but it’s a cute label and my children were amused to see themselves. You can only get a family of seven on there, so be aware of that.

I ordered Christmas cards last year from VistaPrint and they wound up charging me each month, about $15, saying that was my membership fee! After 4 months, they finally cancelled it. Just beware and watch your credit card statement closely.

just an fyi if you choose to order envelopes for the postcards. my husband and i ordered personalized notecards & envelopes for our wedding thank yous in the spring, and were quite disappointed with the quality of the envelopes. maybe there are varying levels of paper quality, but the envelopes we got did not seal well and we had to tape some thank you notes shut. but the notecards themselves were great. the envelopes were just cheap, so maybe you can find better ones at a craft store.

It appears that the more you “buy” that isn’t free, the lower your shipping. Put 1 “free” pen in cart and shipping from 3 something to 9 something, but then added a pen for $3.49 and shipping decreased to 7 something. interesting……..

[Reply]

51 Lisa November 3, 2009 at 3:19 pm

I just ordered mine and it popped up a thing to save an extra $10 on the next order. The fine print said that if you input your information into the “survey” there that you agree to the $15/month fee. Maybe this is where people got tripped up before?

maybe you should mention that adding a picture costs $5 extra on the postcards. I wasn’t expecting that expense, but we wanted them enough that I paid it. Would have been nice if the whole thing was free though!

hm, got to checkout and they tacked $4.99 on for uploading a photo. Bummer

[Reply]

58 Amanda November 12, 2009 at 9:39 pm

This offer is still available if anyone has not placed their order yet. However, if you want the free photo address labels, they try to charge you to upload your photo. Seems like a strange advertisment…free photo return labels, but you pay to use your photo…$4.99. I called them about it and they told me to put the order through and would return the $4.99. I received the refund right after. Still seems silly. If you advertise, free photo return labels that means you would have to upload your photo to make them a PHOTO return label. Anyway, at least they gave me the money back and I was able to order them.

[Reply]

59 Kimberly November 15, 2009 at 10:45 pm

I just ordered the labels for @ 3.50 for the middle shipping option. only .40 more than the slowest. I have ordered business cards through them before really liked them.

As far as the extra charges, my guess is that you may have filled out the survey to received $10 back. If you read the fine print on that offer, it states that you are signing up for their monthly service that costs $14.95.
