100 Free custom Holiday Photo Cards from SeeHere: Have you gotten yours yet?

by crystal on November 19, 2009

Download

Guess what arrived via FedEx yesterday? Our Christmas photo cards from SeeHere–all 100 of them, including envelopes.

Guess how much I paid for them? $0.00

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Not even a penny for shipping. (Note: As of November 21, 2009, they are now charging $3.19 for shipping. But it's still a super sweet deal!)

Y'all need to go jump on this deal, if you haven't already, as it's only good through November 30, 2009. If you're not planning to send out Christmas cards this year, you could use these as gift tags. Or use the codes to create birth announcements. Or come up with another creative idea for these totally free photo cards!

Here's how to get 100 custom photo cards with envelopes for free:

::Just go here to set up an account with SeeHere (or login if you already have an account) and then upload and create your photo card. Mine took me about 30 minutes to put together–but that's because I had to wade through photos and figure out which ones to use!

::After you've set up your photo card, be sure to save it. Then put 50 photo cards in your cart and go to the checkout and use coupon code newbaby and you'll get all 50 free with free shipping (they are now charging $3.19 for shipping).

::Log back in and click on your saved items and order another 50 photo cards this time using the coupon code from Freebies4Mom here. Again, you should get 50 more free photo cards with free shipping (they are now charging $3.19 for shipping).

And that's it! Mine arrived within 3 business days of ordering via FedEx. I was thoroughly impressed, to say the least!

Need some custom address labels to go with the photo cards? Order 140 here for only $3 shipped.

Aaaww, those are so cute! I would do this if I had a family picture ready for the cards. :-)

Ours came yesterday too– and I ordered them at 9 PM Monday night! I didn’t expect Fed Ex though since I didn’t pay for shipping. Figured they’d come good ol’ USPS. Imagine my surprise when I saw the Fed Ex truck pull into the driveway!

We put up our fake tree this morning so that we can take a picture of the kids tonight for this great deal. Thanks for posting exact directions as to how to get 100 of them. I can’t wait to do this deal and then to tell my sister-in-law about it so she can do it too!!

I read that the deal is now only going through 11/21 (saturday) and is only good on the 4×8 cards now.

not sure when the newbaby one expires.

I did both and got some amazing cards…they do wonderful work!

Hope they have another offer in the future. I’m not due until January and would love to use these as birth announcements. Please keep us updated if another deal comes around!

[Reply]

16 Chelsea November 19, 2009 at 12:30 pm

We used that same card, only I made it vertical! Love love love this deal, since we probably wouldn’t have been able to order any Christmas cards this year otherwise.

[Reply]

17 Windy November 19, 2009 at 12:31 pm

Hi Crystal! I just wanted to throw in a tip for this great deal! We usually include an annual Christmas letter with our cards…. which uses a lot of ink, paper, etc. This year we are just including a small slip of paper with a URL address to our ONLINE Christmas letter, as to be more “green” and frugal! Merry Christmas! What a great deal this is!

[Reply]

18 Ashley November 19, 2009 at 12:34 pm

I have to take a Christmas picture so I can order my shortly.

[Reply]

19 Erika November 19, 2009 at 12:36 pm

Just as a aside note, Crystal. The code is only good now until Saturday, due to overwhelming demand (so says the Freebies4Mom site). Just thought you might want to ammend that, so people don’t put this off.

20 Jenny in Tx November 19, 2009 at 12:42 pm

I hope mine turn out ok…it kept saying a photo wasn’t uploaded when I put it in the cart, but the preview looked fine. Fingers crossed. Better hurry with this one as I think the promo was supposed to be tied to a mall purchase.

21 Lyndsey November 19, 2009 at 12:46 pm

22 Sarah Srah November 19, 2009 at 12:52 pm

How exciting! I wish I could do this, but #3 isn’t due for another 5 weeks. Doesn’t seem right to just send out pictures of the oldest two without the baby. I guess I’ll have to miss out on this one! :(

[Reply]

23 Betsy November 19, 2009 at 12:53 pm

Our family does not celebrate Christmas and we aren’t in need of birth announcments or invites, so I created a basic card with a black background and a black and white photo of each of our three kids. I figure I can use these for all sorts of thing: in place of thinking of you cards, as note cards or even the worlds cutest grocery lists. I figure they will be on photo paper and I will be able to write on the back.
Besides, who doesn’t want 100 free photos of their kids. We will find a good use for them.

[Reply]

27 mvb November 19, 2009 at 1:06 pm

Thanks for the tips! I ordered all mine too. You can make a variety too as long as it’s 50. I got 80 Christmas cards, 12 holiday thank you cards, and made 8 birthday thank you cards. (two separate 50 card orders) I was able to use a variety of pictues to share with friends and family three different ways! An unbelievable deal! The website is extremely slow though. I had the best luck first thing in the morning. Everyone must be going after this deal. Love your blog!!!

[Reply]

28 Lisa November 19, 2009 at 1:08 pm

I got 50 holiday cards and am going to order the second set (different design) to use as thank you notes. FYI: at least for the newbaby code you can order different designs (i.e. 25 of one kind and 25 of another) and as long as it adds up to 50 the code will work.

[Reply]

29 Paige L. November 19, 2009 at 1:10 pm

Does it matter which size of card you order? I see several options and want to make sure I select the right size. Thanks!

[Reply]

30 jen November 19, 2009 at 1:18 pm

I read on another blog that the freebies 4 mom code has been revised to only work until Nov 21 due to high demand. You may want to check on that and place an order before that time!!

[Reply]

31 Nicholle November 19, 2009 at 1:23 pm

I struggled with the site. I couldn’t get the photo to shrink to the size I wanted, I couldn’t resize the text. I spent close to an hour fighting with it if they weren’t free I would have given up long before that. I have made cards before and never had such a hard time.

[Reply]

[Reply]

34 Suzanne November 19, 2009 at 1:27 pm

Crystal, I think that Freebies 4 Mom has modified the code on her page, its now only good on 4 x 8 and only until Nov 21! The newbaby code still works for 5 x 7 though! Thanks!

[Reply]

35 Jenny November 19, 2009 at 1:32 pm

I just ordered ours the other night. I’m hoping they come soon!! NOW, I double checked on freebies4mom and she said the seehere site would only honor her code until Nov. 21st! There was too much traffic and they changed the deadline. Just thought I would share! By the way, I love your blog!

HELP! Last time attempted this the site wasn’t loading, now when I upload my pics, they are blurry once I put them into the card…if I go to just order a print it looks fine! It isn’t that I am zoomed in because they look blurry when I preview my card! Any ideas??? TIA

What a fun deal! I just ordered the cards, but had to do it in 2 separate orders. With the 5×7 cards, I didn’t have to order 50 of the same card — it was nice to get a few of this and that and a bunch of a favorite!

48 jennsquared November 19, 2009 at 2:39 pm

My first set came! As baby announcement! And it’s the 5×7 size too! I actually made my own template instead of using theirs, saved the whole thing as jpeg, and stretched it as a photo and covered the entire space. they are awesome quality!!!

My second set is the Christmas one and it was shipped yesterday so I can’t wait to get them! For that one, I used 4×8 and their template so it took me grand total of 2 mins!!

[Reply]

49 Anna Whiteside November 19, 2009 at 2:44 pm

I received mine today too! So cute and FREE! Can’t beat that! I used a close up of my girls’ faces edited to black and white since I haven’t taken any Christmas pics yet. And now I can cross ordering cards off my to do list! Thanks so much for letting us know about all these great deals!

[Reply]

50 Claire at Saving Money Plan November 19, 2009 at 2:45 pm

So two entirely separate transactions, correct? The only connection being that you save the card so you don’t have to redo it. I think this is one of the better deals around. WOW.

Here I go to get mine…
Thanks!!

[Reply]

51 Claire at Saving Money Plan November 19, 2009 at 2:47 pm

Crystal: It’s also saying on the website that you can use the code “prints” (that’s all lower case, no quotation marks) to get 100 free.

Has anyone tried this as well? Or knows if this one can be used additionally?

Perhaps that one doesn’t have the free shipping attached.

Let me know if anyone finds out! And I’ll try it now after I do these first two batches of 50!

[Reply]

52 Jennifer November 19, 2009 at 2:52 pm

I have had the hardest time with this website. Either I can’t login or I can’t start loading pics. I’m stuck. Lots of good offers, too!

[Reply]

53 Cassandra November 19, 2009 at 2:52 pm

I don’t know if my internet is too slow, (we have satellite internet) or if the website is too slow, or what the deal is- but this will not work for me!!! I have tried umpteen times, and the page where you edit everything never fully loads! It is so frustrating…. I might try waiting until really late tonight, and then trying again. Aughhh!!! I do not want to miss this deal!

[Reply]

54 Michelle November 19, 2009 at 2:54 pm

My most recent family picture was from a pumpkin patch in October, so that’s what’s on our FREE Christmas cards! I just ordered mine after I saw your post that you actually received them. Plus the last several times I tried the site was either too busy, or it had an error with my codes. I’m excited to get these!

I wasn’t even going to do Christmas cards this year (in order to save money), but this option works perfectly for my poor family (we’re in med school on loans and government aid). THANKS!

[Reply]

55 Pamela November 19, 2009 at 2:57 pm

Just finished ordering ours!! What a great freebie! Let’s hope it doesn’t flop like the ornament one did, though! I’m just hoping I see them in the FedEx truck before I get an email telling me about some other offer that I didn’t sign-up for. Here’s hoping for the best!! Sure will be nice to put them in our ministry update letter.
Thanks, Crystal!!

I just tried Freebies4Mom and it’s definitely not working for me – even on the 4 x 6 cards.

Has it worked for anyone else?

[Reply]

59 Vanderbilt Wife November 19, 2009 at 3:50 pm

Thank you SO much Crystal for this information. I wasn’t sure how we were going to afford to do Christmas cards–now I just have to pay postage to send them! I got 50 Christmas cards and 20 thank you cards for her birthday (did NOT need 50 of those but the same code worked even without ordering 50). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

60 JulieJ November 19, 2009 at 3:51 pm

I just received my cards. I’m so disappointed. The picture of us is so small. I had to make it small because it kept giving me the yellow triangle saying my pictures would be distorted because they were too big. Also, they look cheap. I went ahead and ordered a second set today thru Costco using their $5 off coupon. I only paid $11 for 50 cards of much better quality. I still can’t believe they would have charged me $40 for these cards. If you do use their website I would recommend using 2 or more smaller photos instead of one larger photograph won’t be distorted. I’m glad the rest of you all had a great experience.

Something seems to be wrong with the website–I tried to place the order by clicking “finalize” and it put me back on the payment page. I wonder if the company has been bombarded with the use of the promocode and has prevented transactions from being placed…

Thanks for the input!

“newbaby” is not the same as the Freebie4Mom deal, is it? People keep mentioning that the F4M deal expires tomorrow, but I thought newbaby was a separate one altogether. Hmm.

Okay? So, do you have to purchase the first 50 to get the additional 50 free with either code, or do you just get all 100 free? I am going to use the newbaby code and wondered if I would need to pay for the 5×7 card in any way? Help!

Thank you for the reminder! I had been putting it off and ordered two sets this morning—some for Christmas and some just to have photos to share. I appreciate all you do for us. I love reading your blog! I’m coming from a different place in life, hoping to retire soon and still be able to give and share.

I must me a total loser, because I can not get this website to work. I’ve uploaded the pics, but CAN NOT make a card. So frustrated right now!!!!! How can I be the only one that does not find this user-friendly? I’ll try again later.

I just did it and it worked for me!!

I got 50 photo cards for Christmas and then I ordered 25 each of thank you cards for each of my 2 kids. I had to use baby ones, but I took out the baby stuff and changed the wording…voila! Even if I never use them, I didn’t have to pay anything!

Wow, this was awesome!! I was really impressed with their website. It worked perfectly and there were so many options and ways to customize the cards! I can’t wait to see how they turn out. Thank you!!

Wow! I just did my 2 sets of 50. The site was a little slow but I seemed to have much better luck when I opened the site through Internet Explorer. Thanks for the great deal!

I just placed an order and at first I had trouble with the more advanced uploader so I had to use the basic one, but other than that, the order went through as smooth as possible! :)

I used both codes and did two different versions so I could have some of the 5×7’s with the newbaby code. They turned out soooi perfect and I received them in less than 48 hours!! Amazing… Thanks so much for sharing such a fabulous deal. I have skipped this part of the holidays before, but won’t have to this year:)

Holy Moly! This was so easy and I cannot believe it was totally free. I am amazed at all the deals that are out there, waiting for us to take advantage of them! Thanks MSM! And Freebies 4 Mom! You guys rock!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the shipping is no longer free. It cost $3.19 for each 50 ordered, but the freebies4mom code is still working until the 30th.

114 Ami November 21, 2009 at 9:09 pm

I entered the newbaby code and it’s calculating shipping at $3.19 : ( It’s still a good deal, but maybe too many have taken advantage of it and they modified the deal? Regardless, thank you for the post and the great instructions!

115 Andrea November 21, 2009 at 9:23 pm

Just thought I’d let you know seehere.com has changed the deal with your code, and you now have to pay shipping for 50 cards ($3.15). Still a great deal, though!

116 Angela November 21, 2009 at 9:28 pm

Why is it saying I have to pay for shipping and give them my credit card info, even when I put in the code??

[Reply]

117 Breanne Blanchard November 21, 2009 at 10:07 pm

I am typing in the newbaby code and it takes off the price for the 50 cards, but not the shipping…any ideas why?

118 shelly November 21, 2009 at 10:14 pm

They are not charging shipping when using either one of those promotional codes:( Oh well, $3.19 is still a great deal!

I have tried for THREE days to do this, and was so excited to get such a fabulous deal on Christmas cards (we send a LOT every year)…
After three days of failed attempts, I give up…my time is just worth more than this! LOL The site has continuously locked up my computer, and the pictures just will not upload. I use Snapfish, Photobucket and other sites for photos, and have never had so many problems! I will say though, I will never, EVER again try to use them for photo sharing and printing…lesson learned! I am so bummed that I couldn’t get this deal…:-(
Thank you though, your tips are always so helpful!!!

I tried several times and would get to the upload page and then it wouldn’t work. I’m bummed, seemed like a great deal.

They will no longer allow you to do both codes. I was very disappointed to find that when you log out, they are now emptying your cart.

Thank you! I usually create my own cards in photoshop but I am moving the weekend before Christmas this year and time and money are very limited. This was a huge blessing to me this year!

I was able to get both of these ordered with free shipping. It took about a week for them to arrive but they did. Super cute and the best part is they were free! I probably still would have ordered them even if I had to pay for shipping. Thanks for the info on this great freebie!

That is a good price, only .0638 cents each! Thanks, for sharing the details!

Ending on Nov. 29th, Sam’s Club has 100 for $15 which is 15 cents each.

I don’t know what shipping charges are as I didn’t look into it because I have one within driving distance.

135 Jenny November 29, 2009 at 5:03 pm

Do they have to be 100 of the same cards or can I do 50 of one and 50 of the other? Thanks :)

136 Christy November 29, 2009 at 10:38 pm

Thank you for the codes! I just used both on 11/29 and they still worked! Shipping was $3.19 on both orders, but that’s still a wonderful deal when compared to what I normally pay for our photocards! This was a great help this year since we are now on one income and Christmas cards might now have happened any other way! :)
