For the Quilted Northern deal – there is also a 50 cent store coupon in the monthly coupon book in the ad rack. It can be used with the Mfr. coupon.

Kayla October 17, 2009 at 10:32 pm

Hi,
On the Ester C buy one get one for free you say use 2
$5.00 off coupons…..Why would Walgreens accept both of those coupons? The second product is free and you can’t use two manufacturer coupons for one item.
Thanks for your great website! I love it:)

******************
Money Saving Mom here: Not all Walgreens stores will always accept two coupons on a Buy One, Get One Free sale. However, most will because they will get reimbursed for the full value of the product, so they would not be losing any money to accept the two coupons on a Buy One Get One deal. I hope that helps!

Geoff October 17, 2009 at 10:42 pm

That is an incredible deal on Zantac. Their rewards really add up fast when you take advantage of deals like that.

Lowbudget October 17, 2009 at 11:16 pm

Thanks for you detailed listing of the WAGS deals. I have been printing coupons like mad. I am getting ready for a week of lunch hour couponing! Thanks again!

Holly in OK October 18, 2009 at 1:13 am

Was anyone able to print the Zantac coupon?? I just filled out all my personal information, taking the time and personal risk to do so, and then was told that the offer had expired. I sent a rather annoyed message to the company, asking politely (but firmly) for an emailed or mailed coupon to make up for the fact that I followed THEIR link on THEIR site and filled out my personal information for the coupon THEY said I would get if I filled out said information, then was told that I couldn’t have the promised coupon. If they’re going to pull it, they need to pull the link and the registration form. That’s very disingenuous to let someone fill out their life story and then tell them they can’t have what you’ve promised them in return for that life story.
I know coupons run out, but you need to pull your offer for the coupon from your site immediately if you’re the manufacturer.

Khiem October 18, 2009 at 1:25 am

Regarding those items that have coupons and in-ad coupons, Walgreens limits 1 coupon per item. So how can you combine them?
Like I had to pay $2.5 for the Frapuchino instead of $2 in the ads. Because it either take the in-ad coupon or $1 off coupon, not both.

Honey October 18, 2009 at 6:10 am

Traci-I think the Quilted Northern store coupon is for a 12 pack. The 9 roll is what’s on sale.

Lisa October 18, 2009 at 6:49 am

The Zantac Coupon has expired.

Honey October 18, 2009 at 7:31 am

I got toilet paper, 3 boxes tissues, ice cream, 2 frappaccinos, cough drops, lotion, 2 cans olives, 2 cans tuna, zantac, a newspaper, 2 candles, and 2 packs of gum for $10 out of pocket! (I stayed status quo with register rewards). It’s a good week at Walgreens.

Cathy October 18, 2009 at 7:33 am

Zantac coupon no longer active

Tracy J October 18, 2009 at 8:42 am

I filled out the Zantac info and it said the coupon was no longer available… oh well!

Jamie October 18, 2009 at 9:00 am

When I tried to print the Zantac coupon it said that it was expired! Is there another link?

Sarah October 18, 2009 at 9:53 am

Zantac coupon is gone.

Lian October 18, 2009 at 10:18 am

I hate my WG.!!! They didn’t let me used 2 Huggies coupon because in the coupon said limit one coupon per purchase. Is that right? Did anybody had same problem with me?

Stefanie October 18, 2009 at 10:44 am

Today I got 8 bottles of EsterC (I had 8 coupons), 2 Gillette Fusion razors, 5 boxes Kelloggs cereals, and 2 (4pks) Bic razors, plus 2 filler items (gum) for $9.xx And I have 8RR for next week. I love Walgreens! Hpapy Wagging all!!

deseray October 18, 2009 at 11:53 am

There is a B1G1 free Trident in this Sunday’s paper. Would also make it free after RR’s.

Michelle October 18, 2009 at 12:45 pm

The Zantac coupon is no longer available.

Homeschool momma in Mid-Michigan October 18, 2009 at 2:03 pm

:( I tried to print out the Zantac coupon, but it said the offer has expired and coupon no longer available :(

Khiem October 18, 2009 at 2:55 pm

zantac coupon doesn’t work :(

nichole October 18, 2009 at 3:35 pm

I found airwick i motion mini for 3.99 at my walgreens on a 50% roll back used $4 coupons to get them free!

Rebecca R October 18, 2009 at 4:47 pm

I tried to get the Halls. I wanted to buy 12 bags. The cashier would not let me ring them up separately. But i still had a .50 cent off coupon, so got 12 bags for $6 plus $1 back in register rewards.

robin October 18, 2009 at 5:17 pm

The RR on the Glade is only $1. at least that’s all I got.

Also the .50 WAGS q for the Northern is for the 12 pack. The 9 pack is the one on sale.

Kris October 18, 2009 at 6:26 pm

on the Ricola Deal… is it likely Wags would let you use the in ad oucpon, the BOGO manuf. coupon and the WAGS saving book coupon all at one time. I wouldn’t think they would let you use 2 wags coupons.
Thanks for any help!

Amanda October 18, 2009 at 9:41 pm

Regarding the Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion, my $1.50/1 Vaseline coupon from the 8/2 RedPlum insert expired on 9/27/09.

Cheryl R. October 19, 2009 at 1:42 pm

I didn’t get a chance to buy the Walgreen’s coloring activity book with all the coupons this year. Does anyone’s Walgreen’s still offers theirs. Mine does not. Any ideas on how to get ahold of one of these?????

Erin October 19, 2009 at 9:50 pm

Cheryl R. – Check out ebay (there were a few a couple of weeks ago for $1.49).

Pert Plus for Men is included in the 2/$5 sale. 10/18 SS had 1.50/1 coupons making them free after coupon and RR.

If you’re lucky you can get a $2 off instant savings coupon on the zantac box that you can peel off. With that coupon (and others in general) and my employee discount (I work at Walgreens), they pretty much pay me back for the whole spending half of my paycheck their thing. With 2 of the $9 register rewards from the zantac (always make separate purchases with stuff like that because if you buy 2 register rewards things, you’ll only get one register reward coupon), the sale on the perfume, and my 15% employee discount, I got 2 bottles of my Britney Spears perfume for $18.61 (including tax). First of all, that’s two bottles for less then the sale price ($19.99) let alone the actual sale price of $27.99.
Anyways, back to coupons.
Always always check products on shelf for instant coupons or free samples/travel sized products attached to the regular product (i.e. mini bottle of conditioner on shampoo bottle or a peel off and use on purchase 55 cents off on draino). Sometimes you’ll have to look at the very back of the shelf for the product with a peel off coupon on it but it helps. That $8.99 zantac, it was $6.99 after I used the coupon on the box and I still got my $9 register reward.
Also, with register rewards, be careful. The machine often times doesn’t print out the right amount of register rewards. Sometimes its because you used them to buy another register reward item, sometimes it’s because you bought a lot of different register rewards items or bought 2 of the same item, or it’s because a lot of our machines are just down right old and stupid. Many are dinosaurs.

Oh and sometimes different cashiers will let you ring things up separately. I ask my coworkers to do it for me all the time. But if you want to ring 12 things up separately, like, I don’t even know why that would cross anyone’s mind. Just come back later in the day or week or just go to the back of the line. Because not only is it annoying to us and wastes our receipt paper, but there are other customers behind you in line and 12 separate purchases accumulates a really really long line. Plus, these products have a limit, leave some for other people. I know y’all want to save money and stuff, and I do too. But you’re still spending $1. Yea that dollar can help but only within it’s expiration date and with register rewards that’s not that long of a time period. Plus who needs 12 free Hall’s cough drops that actually aren’t even cough drops (they’re hard candy according to the bag and lack of drug facts). You’re still going to spend a dollar on your toilet paper or whatever but you’re just gonna get some hall’s candy too. I’d rather just spend a dollar then have 12 hall’s candies lying around.
We love for you to choose Walgreens over other stores and we love that you choose our register rewards and come back and shop with us again, but there are boundaries and other customers that need to be respected. Try to keep your purchases at one time to 3 separate ring ups unless you want to go to the back of the line because if it’s more then 4 then it’s just plain rude and selfish.

I hope my insider tricks helped.

annon October 20, 2009 at 12:16 am

Oh one more thing.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the sale signs on the product. I have so many customers get mad at me because they didn’t get something free of half off because they just didn’t read the sign and conditions of the sale offer. Not only does it save us time so we can promptly attend to all customers, but it saves you time and trips back to the aisle and such.

And also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the details and conditions on the coupons. So many people try getting cigarettes, milk, gift cards, etc. with register rewards but they register rewards clearly say it’s not redeemable on tobacco, alcohol, dairy, perscriptions, etc.

And of course, make sure you only have 1 register reward per product. You can’t use 2 register rewards on one product. and PLEASE make sure the register rewards cover your ENTIRE purchase price BEFORE tax because they DO NOT cover tax.

Apparently couponers spend the time to sort through coupons and drive all over, so please just take one extra minute to make sure all conditions of sale/coupon are met so the transaction can go through promptly and smoothly.

Thanks y’all.

Kansas Mom October 20, 2009 at 4:00 pm

The $5 Zantac coupon is gone, but there was a $1 coupon in the 10/18 Smart Source supplement, so it can still be a moneymaker with the Register Reward.

S. Davis October 21, 2009 at 12:54 pm

My Glade candle RRs are also $1 – your totals come out where it would be $1, but your title/header lists it as $2

Beth October 24, 2009 at 1:01 pm

My set of coupons for Theraflu is $1.50 off not $2. Anyone else seeing that?? I live in the Atlanta Area.
