I noticed this deal earlier in the week. However, I was afraid to try it since I wasn’t sure that Walgreen’s would take $3.00 off both items in a Buy One Get One Free deal. Is this their policy? Thanks!

My SS inserts from those dates do not have any Almay coupons in them. Are your dates correct? Or is there a link that I could use to print them instead? Thanks!

Our Walgreens is no longer allowing manufactor coupons to be used on “free” items…bummer! We have a couple in town so I might try another one. It might be the cashier, but she said it was store policy and I didn’t have anything with me to prove otherwise!

I’m an employee at walgreens, and have used this deal several times, what a great deal. The only thing is, the cashier cannot hit total and then scan the coupon, once they hit total it takes one off, thus the walgreens instant coupon will only take off for one, not the two. Be sure to pay for it in cosmetics :D The beauty advisors make money by selling Almay this month so they would be more than happy to give you the deal.

My coupons beeped and since the coupon said a different collection she wouldn’t take them.

I just did this deal. Didn’t have the mfr coupons, but it was still a great deal. I got 2 items for $1.50 each!

I didn’t have the mfg cpns either, but I did have $3 in RRs – so I ended up getting 2 for $1.24. (The cashier offered to take $3 off each item as well) Thanks for heads up on this deal!

Perhaps it’s because of the comment left by Heather, but I tried this tonight and the $3 only came off once. It worked out okay in the end, but wasn’t what I had planned on!

I didn’t have the coupons from the insert, but the $6 did come off. Thanks for the tip! Great makeup at. 1.50 each. I am new to your blog and I love it!!! Our kids are nearly the same age as yours. I can’t wait learn more. I really appreciated your homeschool entry this week as we are in to that too.
Shopping for Time-such a great book!

Great deal! Had no problem and my daughter picked out what she wanted. Two teen girls and “girly girls”. It all helps. Thanks

I too tried doing the deal, i ended up voided the whole thing because he was only going to use 1 man Q and 1 Walgreens Q, not the rest.

Another thing, i bought 3 halls refresh bags, which are $1, and used 3 ( $0.75/1) Q’s and only got 1 dollar in register rewards, even the cashier questioned whether i was supposed to get 3 of them , and not just 1. the other employee told him that since i used coupons, it will only prind 1 register reward, and not the rest.

does anyone know more info?

you can only get one RR for each deal per transaction, so if you bought 3 Halls Refresh in one transaction you only get one RR.
