Photobook
I mentioned this a few days ago, but wanted to remind you that if you become a fan of Walgreens on Facebook here and then click this link and follow the instructions, you can snag a Photo Book for $1.99 shipped.

You do not have to actually set up and order the Photo Book today (you have 30 days to do so), but you do have to login and claim it by midnight CST tonight (October 2, 2009).

This would make a great and very inexpensive Christmas gift for grandparents!

How do you “claim it ?”

Katrina October 2, 2009 at 8:45 am

I had trouble claiming it too but I finally got it to work. Log off your account on Walgreens, then go to http://bit.ly/krNBV. Once it prompts you to log in, it should work.

i clicked on the link http://bit.ly/krNBV and it took me directly to the deal however when I clicked continue it gave me this message, “Sorry, we were unable to recognize your promotion. Please review the details of the original promotion and try again if it is still active.” and did not give me credit.

Does anyone know if this type of photo book has photos on the front & back of each page? Or is only on the front because the back page will have Kodak or something printed on it (ex. because it is the back of an actual photo)?

The sample of the photo book (larger than 5 x 7) at my local store…only has photos on the front of the page. The back of the photo page is the backside of a photo…so, it seems like it is just a photo stuck into a book binding. In my opinion, that doesn’t seem as nice as photos on the front & back of each page.

Maybe this one will be a different quality since it isn’t printed in their store photo lab.

I went ahead & became a fan and was able to read the details.

It says “double sided page, acid free” so, it is better/different quality than the sample I saw in the store.

ty for posting this, my husband’s dad and stepmom live in Ohio(we’re in NC) and we are going to use this as their christmas gift this year, and the extra time allows us to use a picture from both the kids birthdays, as our son’s isn’t until the 12th of this month. So again, thank you so much for helping make christmas more affordable!
