Earlier this week, I began my own 30-day challenge. A small daily prayer for greater understanding of my purpose. “Lord, show me why you made me a woman.” I cannot think of a better complement to this prayer than service. Thank you for the inspiration to do both!

Love it! My kids and I ended up at a rare trip to McD’s after a very long day a couple nights ago. After we placed our order, an older couple stepped up to me and asked if it would be okay for them to pay for our dinner! This random act of kindness made my day and inspires me to do more.

Giving is so easy. It comes natural to so many and we can all learn. Give your time, email a coupon to a friend, give extra produce, give a free item to a food bank….giving can be simple.

We are using up some of that extra Halloween candy and extras from our coupon shopping to fill stockings for our troops through Operation Christmas Stocking.
