Leave the box of muffins with her, unpurchased, and they probably couldn't put them out for sale again? I left a little discouraged, but my older children were so happy when I came home with a special treat. It was worth it, but I think the advice to develop a relationship with a regular cashier is great advice! Then I got 6 boxes of Keebler cookies for only 90 cents total! Also got some Special K cereal for 80 cents/box. Spent 48 bucks last night on 106 dollars worth of groceries. =] It really helps if you stick with one cashier and build a friendship with them, they are less likely to give you a hassle.
