Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pasta was only .75 cents at my target.
no that is NOT a typo, it was on pricecut.. hope that helps! been confirmed at several other stores too.
Ronzoni is on sale for $1/box in Noblesville, IN. Regularly $1.29/box.
I got a great deal on Huggies Little Snugglers diapers (jumbo pack) at Target today. The jumbo pack’s are on sale for $9.74, that coupled with a $3/1 manufacturer coupon from the most recent Huggies coupon mailer plus a $1.50/1 Target coupon from the most recent baby mailer = $5.24 per pack…. making them even cheaper per pack than Target’s Up & Up brand.
I actually got a pack of those too… $6.49 and a $1/1 store coupon from the most recent baby mailer = $5.49. Not too shabby either.
Hannah
My $2/2 on the Kellogg’s (whole grain pop tarts) expired last week. Don’t know if that is the case for everyone else though.
i also used the snuggle $3 off coupon at walmart! the snuggle i got (can’t remember which kind) was $3.48 and with the coupon, it came out to $.48!!!
What is the zip code for the Ponds Towlets? I couldn’t find it. Thanks!
I used the target coupon with the insert coupon for the skippy peanut butter and they price matched the walgreens ad this week. Got skippy (which is my kids fav) for .26 You need the whole walgreens ad though.
I had a problem tonight with using 3 Aveeno coupons. I had 2 $1.00 off Any Aveeno baby item, and 1 $2.00 off any Aveeno product. I bought 3 identical lotions (all baby items) and they did not want to take the coupons. They said “but this store”. They told me it was one coupond per purchase. I explained per purchase versus per transaction, and they finally said, well, just this one time, but they told me I couldn’t do it again. The manager left and the cashier told me that they had one lady who came in with 10 coupons, and she started to complain about her. I told her that the manufacturer reimburses them for each coupon (I also said this to the manager) PLUS a handling fee, so they are still making all of their money, plus more.
Any ideas how to handle the “per purchase” difficulty?
I tried to price match the skippy at Target and it did not work…but I paid at check out and then had to go to service sounter for the price match after I already paid (store policy) So, to do it properly I’d suggest paying at the service counter. Have them price match first, then hand over coupons. I still bought skippy for 64 cents a jar with Target coupon and 40 cent manu coupon so not bad but could have been 26 cents a jar. A lesson learned, I guess!
I can’t find the Ponds Toweletts either with my zip code. Making Christmas boxes and they would be great in there!
Thank you! I love your blog! Karen in Ches VA
Anyone have any luck getting Target cashiers and managers to override a coupon that is more than the price of the product?
I tried to get the Ponds towlettes but the coupon was for 1.50. I had the manager come over and he said he would but couldn’t physically override it. The coupon errors out when scanned saying that there is no item.
Any suggestions??
At the Noblesville, IN Super Target, the Snuggle Fabric Softener is well over $5. Also, they didn’t have the Honey Bunches of Oats Pecan Bunches (found them at Meijer on sale for $2.99).
The Ponds coupon that I printed said (30ct), so how is everyone using it on the travel size, which is a 5 ct. ?
DANA SAID: “Anyone have any luck getting Target cashiers and managers to override a coupon that is more than the price of the product?”
YES! I remember reading about Target having a new policy about “pushing the coupon through” and not worrying about it all too much. Well, that wasn’t the case at my store in Seattle last time. I was using the $1/1 tide on a travel size. Usually they get a manager over, and they read the coupon and say, “It says any size” and push it through, but this last time, they gave the same explanation that “THE PRUDENT HOMEMAKER” was getting: “Only one per purchase.” I explained to her, that previous times, the checker has just adjusted the price. and she said, “Well they shouldn’t have done that.” I should’ve whipped out their coupon policy then and there, but whatever. I’m not one for confrontation.
In my opinion, it always just depends on who is working at that time.
I noticed there was a Skippy coupon for $0.75 in the past Sunday paper. I’m going to use that & stack the $1 coupon from target & I should get it free!!
Didn’t find the Air Wick I-Motion Starter Kits at my Target for $5.99 (they were actually priced at 13.99), BUT I did find them at Wal-Mart (and I actually hate going to Wal-Mart) for $6.00…so minus the $6.00 coupon = FREE. That part I love. I also found the Purex 3in1 complete pure and clean refill packs on clearance for $4.15 minus $1.00 coupon. Not the best savings I’ve had, but not a bad deal in the long run for those.
Diana – what state are you in? I’m in TX looking for Skippy q’s for a box I’m putting together to help a family. The last Skippy q I could find expired 9/27.
oops sorry…I should have asked Tammi – not Diana!
Julie C, My thoughts exactly! Not to sound like a complainer because I really appreciate all the hard work the coupon blogging ladies put into this- but I’m getting discouraged each time something like this happens. I take time and ink to print a coupon only to get to the store and realize that it doesn’t apply. Seems to happen most often with the trial/travel sizes. Uggh!
Just a quick note on the Pond’s towelettes… I did see bundle packs (30 ct. Pond’s with a 170 ct. Q-tip box) clearanced at $4.41. If you used the $1.50 off coupon it made for a decent deal that at least was cheaper than the normal price (I think it was $3.99) for a 30 ct. So if this is one of your beauty “must-haves”, then this may be a good deal for you.
