JCPenney and LandsEnd.com: $10 off $10 coupon

by crystal on October 26, 2009

JCPenney logo - 2008

Use coupon code SWEETS4U at JCPenney or code LandsEnd and the pin 1124 at LandsEnd.com to get $10 off your order of $10 or more. Don't forget to shop through Ebates or ShopAtHome to get 3-4% of your order total back.

If you haven't yet signed up with Ebates or ShopAtHome, here's how you can turn these deal into a money-maker:

::Sign up for a new account with Ebates or ShopAtHome.
::Search for JCPenney or LandsEnd on Ebates or ShopAtHome and click-through to the website.
::Find something on the website which is a little over $10 and add it to your cart (The LandsEnd coupon can only be used on regularly-priced merchandise. The JCP code can be used on anything so I recommend checking the outlet store or clearance section get the best deal.)
::Checkout with the promo codes mentioned above to get $10 off your order.
::Checkout paying only for shipping and taxes (this will be around $5-$6).
::Receive your $5 bonus as a new sign-up with Ebates or ShopAtHome and also receive 4% cash back at JCPenney or 3% cashback at LandsEnd.

All told, you can basically pay almost nothing out of pocket for $10 worth of merchandise from JCPenney or LandsEnd!

You can read more details on how Ebates and ShopAtHome work here.

Teena October 26, 2009 at 9:22 am

Great code for Land’s End! Do note that the discount is $10 off regularly priced merchandise only.

cindy October 26, 2009 at 9:24 am

The shipping is $5.95 from JCpenney for my area. seems too high. Thanks for the posting.

n October 26, 2009 at 9:36 am

Lands End is ONLY on regularly priced items, it was a bit confusing. Also, you are going to pay at least $5.95 for shipping.

Frugal, Freebies and Deals October 26, 2009 at 9:52 am

If you are new to either ebates or ShopatHome you will get $5 in your account- so this rebate can help take care of the shipping cost.

I could not get the Penny Code to work with the outlet items.

Denise Vaughan October 26, 2009 at 10:11 am

Thanks for this! I just ordered my son some sweatpants, he’s in dire need. I had just gotten an email this morning from JCP saying I could get $10 for signing up for their rewards program – though it doesn’t apply to clearance stuff, which is where I bought the pants – so I didn’t bother signing up for that. Would’ve been great if I could’ve used it though!

Rachel October 26, 2009 at 10:15 am

when does this offer expire?

Maria October 26, 2009 at 10:31 am

The JCPenny code isn’t working on outlet items for me, either.

Angie October 26, 2009 at 10:52 am

I couldn’t get the code to work on JCP’s men’s nfl merchandise. :( Anyone have luck with it?

dawn October 26, 2009 at 11:14 am

did you guys know they charge you to pick up at the store? i was shocked. i already have to drive to the mall to pick it up, i really dont want to pay $4.50 lol.

If you go online and register with JC Penney it will give you the option of printing out the $10 reward and it says on the coupon that you can use it on sale and clearance merchandise.

Shannon October 26, 2009 at 11:23 am

The JCPenny code worked in the outlet section for me. You do need to make sure that your order total is over $10, though.

Jenna October 26, 2009 at 11:28 am

I was not able to use on JCP Outlet items either it says Promo not qualified

Trista October 26, 2009 at 11:37 am

Thank you so much!

Becky October 26, 2009 at 11:46 am

I couldn’t get the JC Penny Code to work. They said I hadn’t made of enough of a minimum purchase to use the coupon and wanted to charge me full price for the item.

See Snapp Save October 26, 2009 at 11:52 am

My code didn’t work on JCP.com. I selected an item that was over $20, and it was not on sale, clearance or in the outlet. Any suggestions?

See Snapp Save October 26, 2009 at 11:59 am

I just called JCP and there are many exclusions to this offer, but still MANY items to select from. It does say on the offer details that it excludes outlet items, but it looks like some folks are having success with it. I could recommend calling a rep. w/ JCP if you are having trouble. They answer quickly…no long wait. 1-800-322-1189

Money Saving Mom,

It says there is a credit to my Ebates account of $5, but is pending…I just completed an order with JCPenney…when and how does Ebates recognize this?

Thanks,

JP

Bethany October 26, 2009 at 12:11 pm

too bad it doesn’t work for lands end overstocks! Their overstocks are about the only lands end I buy unless I can find clearance at the mall. thanks for the code though!

Tricia Young October 26, 2009 at 1:24 pm

I just went through Ebates and purchased something from JCPenney using the code. How do I know it was credited to my Ebates acct? I went to Ebates and it doesn’t say anything.

Michelle October 26, 2009 at 1:29 pm

Don’t know if Penney’s will let you combine codes, but there is a free shipping code going right now and there is no minimum purchase requirement. The code is THANK10.

christina October 26, 2009 at 1:51 pm

i tried to use the lands end code and pin on a regularly price pair of shoes and it did not work.

christina October 26, 2009 at 1:54 pm

nevermind. i can’t read. ; )
THANKS.

Angie October 26, 2009 at 2:01 pm

Only LandsEnd I could get to through Shop at Home is the UK site–if I navigate back to the US site, will that still work?

kristen October 26, 2009 at 2:03 pm

I have been told at JCPenney that if you order lands end stuff at their instore computer you don’t have to pay shipping.

Angela October 26, 2009 at 3:01 pm

Every time I try to access JC penneys page my virus protection tells me not to go there.

Katharine October 26, 2009 at 7:13 pm

the code wouldn’t work for me on land’s end

martaz October 26, 2009 at 10:26 pm

On JCP I had to try a few different items before I got the $10 off. Kind of a pain but it did work!

Rosa October 27, 2009 at 9:45 am

I am not familiar with ShopAtHome. Do you receive the cash back in the form of a check mailed to you OR do they credit your card somehow?

Erin H October 27, 2009 at 1:17 pm

Used the code, signed up for Ebates and for JCPenney Rewards and got what would have cost $31 and change regular price in toddler clothes for $1 and change plus S/H. The Ebates sign up reward will cover most of the S/H. Yay! Thanks for posting this.

Erin H October 27, 2009 at 1:17 pm

should have mentioned that I bought sale price items. :)

kristen October 27, 2009 at 6:51 pm

OOOPS. I meant if you go into SEARS you can order lands end to your house on their computer and not pay shipping. I used the landsend 1124 code and got kids gloves for a total of $5.83 shipped.

Robin Lindsay October 27, 2009 at 9:53 pm

ok, i got the $10 off $10 purchase to work, but i just registered a debit card with the jcp rewards, but don’t see the $10 voucher you were talking about. What am i doing wrong?

CC October 29, 2009 at 12:36 pm

I “chatted” with someone from LandsEnd and got a free shipping code for today only. Code OCT29 and pin 2630. You can only use one promotional code, but since my shipping price was more than $10, I used the free shipping.
