Actually, the produce coupon only requires a $5 purchase….it says that clearly in the fine print. So even a better deal!

I cannot tell you how ridiculous I felt last night. For some reason I just can’t explain, I got the notion stuck in my head that this was a $2 off $5 MEAT coupon. Don’t ask me why, maybe because we needed to get some hamburger this week, but I was convinced that this was a meat coupon so I didn’t even bother to read it. I just printed it out, took it to Giant, carefully picked out a marked-down package of hamburger going for $5.53 and happily presented this coupon at the register during checkout. Imagine my surprise :) *slaps forehead*
