Amazon.com: 32 ounces of Pure Maple Syrup for $12.50 shipped

by crystal on October 30, 2009

Maple

Through Saturday (October 31, 2009), Amazon is running a sweet deal on 100% Pure Maple Syrup. I'm not sure how many of you buy maple syrup, but I'm pretty sure this is about the best deal out on it–unless you make your own or something!

Here's how to get 32 ounces of 100% Pure Maple Syrup for $12.50 shipped:

::Go here and choose between Grade A, Grade B, or organic Coombs Family Farm 100% Pure Maple Syrup (there's a small price difference between each of these).

::Choose the Subscribe and Save option. (This will take
another 15% off your order. According to the details, you can cancel
this anytime you'd like so be sure to cancel this immediately after you
place your order. You just have to click the button to cancel it and
you're done.)

::Use coupon code BASCOM35 at checkout (this code expires October 31, 2009) to get another 35% off your order.

::Checkout and your total should be approximately $12.50 after the discounts. Use any accumulated Swagbuck gift cards to further lower your out-of-pocket costs.

::Remember to immediately cancel the Subscribe and Save service by going to "My Account" and clicking on "Subscriptions".

::If you want to purchase more than one jug of maple syrup, you can just repeat the process above and make separate orders and each should only be approximately $12.50 each.

Thanks so much, Cyndy!

Thank you Crystal! I just finished my last 8oz. bottle of maple syrup and couldn’t bring myself to spend $10 on another small bottle. Now I’m getting 4x the amount for just a bit more.

What a blessing! :o )

Joann October 30, 2009 at 12:44 am

Awesome thanks! Got it ordered and shipped for $12.50 and cancelled the subscription. My husband is so picky he refuses to put Aunt Jemima on his pancakes!!

shannon October 30, 2009 at 12:48 am

I ordered some! We usually buy the cheapie light stuff so this is going to be a treat!

Sandy October 30, 2009 at 1:20 am

Holy cow, we LOVE real maple syrup. Thanks for the tip!

Angie October 30, 2009 at 5:52 am

Make sure to check your order after canceling the subscription. After canceling the subscription I went back and looked at my order. I had an order for $13.00 for the syrup and another order of the syrup for $22.00. I had to cancel the $22.00 order. I’m not sure if there was an error on my part or if it will happen to everyone who cancels the subscription.

Connie R. October 30, 2009 at 7:11 am

Thank you so much! We love real maple syrup and were just about out. I was dreading the purchase price. Thank you for making it doable.

Andrea October 30, 2009 at 7:22 am

wow, thanks- because of a gift card balance from swagbucks- I only paid $5.76. I’ve paid a lot more for less maple syrup.

erin October 30, 2009 at 7:41 am

Thanks so much! My kids will only eat real syrup and it is expensive these days!

Megan October 30, 2009 at 7:49 am

I was able to order this 2 weeks ago and the package arrived lightning fast! The syrup is DELICIOUS (we got grade B b/c it’s more flavorful than A) and it has the most ingenious little clean-pour spout so the bottle doesn’t get all sticky. Enjoy!

Lorrie October 30, 2009 at 7:49 am

They had this deal in September as well. I have ordered this syrup twice. We refuse to use fake pancake syrup. This brand is really good. I can buy maple syrup at Sam’s for about $16 for 32 oz. I may go ahead and order more since we are on our last bottle. I also use it in place of sugar when I bake.

Laura October 30, 2009 at 8:02 am

Thanks, Crystal! I’ve been wanting to buy real maple syrup for several months now but couldn’t find a deal that I was comfortable with. I can’t wait to try this!

Annie Rasmussen October 30, 2009 at 8:03 am

What an AMAZING deal!

Caroline October 30, 2009 at 8:19 am

I got this yesterday, great deal! You don’t have to do separate orders for more than one jug though, just choose the quantity you want when you select the subscribe and save option.

Lynn October 30, 2009 at 8:21 am

This is the same basic price my Sam’s club has it for. I got a 32 ounce on at Sams, a different brand, just last week for $13. So, some may want to check Sam’s too.

kathy October 30, 2009 at 8:43 am

Thanks so much. This is going to be a Christmas Laugh Gift for my 15 year old son!!!! And a great buy for me!!!

Carrie October 30, 2009 at 8:56 am

DARN. I did an earlier purchase with this code of a different brand maple syrup and paid about $20 for 32 oz. Had to buy a lot more, too. That was a good deal, but this is even better!

Lucy October 30, 2009 at 8:57 am

I found out that you can not reorder after going on the “subscribe and Save” program. I canceled and later reordered to get this deal. I was not allowed to order again under the good sale terms. Plus it was not coming from Amazon but another seller and had $13.85 in shipping!!Glad I had ordered two jugs a month ago!!

Cheryl October 30, 2009 at 9:04 am

thanks for the tip!
I ordered the Coombs Family farm AND the Brown family & got the discount on both!
Our last bottle was from Sam’s & it cost $18.00, so this is a savings.

Jaycie October 30, 2009 at 9:15 am

This is great! I just ran out of syrup and have some SwagBucks left to use. Many thanks for the posting. We love a great pancake meal on the weekend.

Jana at The Homeschool Jungle October 30, 2009 at 9:33 am

I just tried this and the code would not work :(

Melissa October 30, 2009 at 9:54 am

Thank you for posting this! Is it possible to order more than a quantity of “one” on this or other types of these Amazon specials?

Jen October 30, 2009 at 9:58 am

Yummy! I had $5 swagbucks to apply so it was only $7.50 total! What a TERRIFIC deal! Thanks so much for posting this :)

Stacy October 30, 2009 at 9:59 am

Thanks so much! We had gotten this same kind the last time it was on sale and it’s delicious! No going back to that fake stuff. I think I’ll stock up!

Jenni October 30, 2009 at 10:02 am

I must be doing it wrong . . . I tried several different ways to get the syrup, but could never get the subscribe and save discount – it wasn’t an option after I selected the syrup – and the code didn’t work in the only field available “amazon gift cards and other promotional codes.”

B October 30, 2009 at 10:21 am

Is there any reason you recommend doing the process over for additional jugs instead of just ordering more at the same time? I just placed an order for 2 and my total was $25,I wanted to make sure I’m not missing something!

Regina October 30, 2009 at 10:23 am

What an awesome deal – thanks!

Summer October 30, 2009 at 10:30 am

I am so thrilled. I only buy pure maple syrup and I was at the last drop in my bottle. My husband loves the “good stuff” but it is normally so expensive. Not this time, it isn’t. Thank you so much!

MaryAnn October 30, 2009 at 10:31 am

What a deal! Thanks!

julia October 30, 2009 at 10:41 am

Thank you! I just added pure maple syrup to my list of bulk purchases to buy–love that I’m getting it at this price!

Malory October 30, 2009 at 11:00 am

Thank you thank you! I just blogged last week how I might “splurge” on some maple syrup this week…but then I was feeling guilty to spend so much on so little. Now I don’t have to feel guilty! Great deal!! :)

Kansas Mom October 30, 2009 at 11:04 am

We don’t put maple syrup on our pancakes (too precious!), but I always keep some in the fridge for a few recipes we love (like our granola) that call for it. We’re due for a bottle and this is a bit more than a $1 better than our Sam’s price.

Julie October 30, 2009 at 11:09 am

I just bought 3 and it worked like a charm. Thank you for the detailed instructions on how to do this great deal.

bonnie October 30, 2009 at 11:37 am

I’m having a really difficult time getting the “subscribe & save” to be applied. I click on the words and it shows me what I’m suppose to do to subscribe but it never asks me about subscribing, no check boxes, name, address, etc. I tried putting the code you gave us in the promo./coupon/gift card box but it won’t let me use the code. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure this out. Could you help? Thanks so much.

Melissa @ Anxious for Nothing October 30, 2009 at 11:53 am

Thanks, I just ordered 2 jugs. Just a heads up, though…the organic syrup (which I would have preferred) is not available through subscribe-and-save, so it won’t work for this deal. But still a very good deal for 100% pure maple syrup.

Mary October 30, 2009 at 11:53 am

Thank you for this post. I ordered some but I didn’t do the subscription. I was afraid of getting burned. Even without the extra 15% off it’s a good deal.

LK October 30, 2009 at 12:06 pm

By the way, if you belong to Costco, theirs is the same size for 12.99. For when this deal is no longer working. :)

Mandy October 30, 2009 at 12:17 pm

Thanks for the head’s up! I ordered the 2 pack of the 16 oz jugs for my brother for Christmas! He moved back to Arizona from Vermont this last spring, and is almost out of “the good stuff”. I can’t believe it – $13.18 all together!

Amanda October 30, 2009 at 12:20 pm

A note to anyone else who may have the trouble I had…it only works with items that are eligible for super saver shipping–I think b/c they come straight from amazon. Thanks for the tip Crystal!!

Briana Johnson October 30, 2009 at 12:21 pm

I am not able to sign on to subscribe and save.. and at the end the code BASCOM35 is not being accepted.
Wonder what I am doing wrong?

Melikte October 30, 2009 at 12:27 pm

I placed my order! Thanks a lot!

Erin October 30, 2009 at 12:40 pm

That’s a *great* price on Organic Maple Syrup… I just bought quite a few! Thanks!

Becky October 30, 2009 at 12:58 pm

Yes, thank you, that is a good price. I usually get 32 oz at Sam’s Club for 13.88 so this price is slightly better than that. We’re all maple syrup snobs here and can’t stand that high-fructose corn syrup stuff they call syrup! One thing I do sometimes to stretch it is mix it half and half with homemade syrup and put it in a squeeze bottle. The squeeze bottle helps with portion control (esp. for the little ones!) and the real maple syrup adds enough flavor that you don’t notice that it’s diluted with homemade syrup. I make homemade syrup by mixing brown sugar and water together and sometimes adding maple flavoring.

Rachel October 30, 2009 at 1:00 pm

This is great! Thanks for the tip – I ordered right away. Grade A :D

Rain October 30, 2009 at 1:19 pm

Wonderful, this worked for me too. Just make sure you choose the one that comes with prime shipping if you have this.

C October 30, 2009 at 1:36 pm

I have never had maple syrup. Any suggestions on which one I should buy? What is the difference between light and dark?

carol October 30, 2009 at 1:56 pm

The promotional code isn’t working for me. Very frustrating!

Erika October 30, 2009 at 2:14 pm

I always buy my maple syrup at Costco anymore. You can get 100% pure Canadian maple syrup for about 7.00 (and that’s in Alaska mind you). I forgot to buy it the last time I was there, so I ended up buying Mrs. Butterworth *sigh*. Being from Maine…the imitation stuff just isn’t the same!

Sara October 30, 2009 at 2:21 pm

Help…I get the subscribe and save button to take off the discount. How do you sign up for that? I clicked the Subscribe and save button on the top right, but it is just informational.

Cyndy October 30, 2009 at 4:15 pm

Crystal mentioned making separate transactions because that is what I told her I had read about when I found the information on a forum…sorry for unnecessary work if it’s not needed!

I bought organic syrup using the code last night, but it must not be part of the promotion anymore because it doesn’t list the savings information on that product page anymore…and the grade A is out of stock, so grab the B while you can! The link for that is here (copy and paste if it is not clickable):

http://www.amazon.com/Coombs-Family-Farms-Premium-32-Ounce/dp/B0019MYYFA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=grocery&qid=1256936914&sr=1-2

If the code is not working, make sure you are purchasing a product that is a part of the promotion.

To subscribe, click the “Subscribe Now” button on the middle-right side of the page…if you don’t see that button then it’s not a part of that program.

Hope this helps!

Heather h. October 30, 2009 at 4:27 pm

This is .39 cents per ounce. I buy 100% organic pure maple syrup from our health food store for .31 cents per ounce ($40 gallon)

Audrey October 30, 2009 at 5:24 pm

i can’t get the subscribe and save to work either. Maybe because I’m already a Prime member? Dunno. Taking too much time to figure out though.

Vicky October 30, 2009 at 7:05 pm

Awesome! I had purchased some organic grade B from Whole Foods for $17, and it is an hour away! This saves me time and money! Thanks, Crystal. :)

Angie K October 31, 2009 at 11:55 am

I hate paying so much for maple syrup but my husband is a maple syrup snob. He just ran out and I needed to get some more. I don’t buy it that often so I wouldn’t know what a good price is, but everyone else here says it’s a good deal so I ordered him a jug.Hopefully this will last him a while!

Green Apple October 31, 2009 at 6:21 pm

Thank you for the tip. My husband only likes real maple syrup and it is as expensive as hard liquor. We bought 10 16 oz bottles. My kids are still going to eat the Aunt Jemimas. Thought I was going to have to tap my trees in the backyard.
