Theres a deal that isnt advertised. They have the 2oz glade candles for 3.49, I used 2 free coupons, and got a $1 RR. Pretty sweet deal if ya ask me.

Thanks for sharing this list. It makes it so much easier for all of us moms to find money saving deals!!

The Carefree printable is no longer available.

Allison September 20, 2009 at 12:57 pm

The Glade 2 oz candles at my Walgreens were on sale 2/$5, and I used the 2 $3/1 internet printable coupons, and I got the $1 RR. The only problem was they wouldn’t let me get overage, they modified the coupons to $2.50 each, which means I still got them free, plus the RR!

I bought the 2 Oral B Toothbrushes and used the BOGO coupon and I did not receive the $2 RR at Walgreens!? I asked the cashier why i did not receive RR and she said it was because i used a coupon. Did the same thing happen to you? I was confused. THANKS!!!

The Roots of Nature Hair Care coupon that printed was for SoftSheen Carson products. Is that the right coupon?

jane gray September 20, 2009 at 3:04 pm

I bought 2 Oral B toothbrushes from walgreens and used the BOBO coupon. I did not receive $2 RR. I asked the cashier why i did not receive the RR and she said it was because I used a coupon (BOBO). Does your store print the RR even if you have used a coupon to get the item?

Jenn September 20, 2009 at 5:00 pm

I know you will do Target later in the week but they have Bic Soleil Razors on sale for $3.99- $.99 when you use $3/1! (I even found a pack that had 2 bonus razors, so 6 for $.99!!)

Hil September 20, 2009 at 5:21 pm

Do you know if the haagen-dazs coupons will only work on the haagen-dazs brand?

Hil September 20, 2009 at 5:23 pm

do you know if the haagen-dazs coupon will only work on the haagen-dazs five brand? or on any haagen dazs flavor

How can I get a Healthy Savings Coupon Book? My Walgreens says they don’t know what I’m talking about. I also asked about the Walgreens Activity Book and they acted like I had three heads.

Thanks!

Heather September 20, 2009 at 10:27 pm

You may want to remove the link for the Carefree liners. I got the “campaign no longer available” screen.

Paula September 21, 2009 at 7:36 am

There is a coupon for $3.00 on the thermacare website which makes it a money making deal for the RR.

Ann September 21, 2009 at 8:46 am

I just printed the $3 Thermacare coupon from their website, but it’s $3 off a 2-count or larger, so I don’t think it will work with the Walgreens 1-count RR deal.

Kimberly September 21, 2009 at 9:44 am

Janice – I found the Healthy Savings coupon book by the pharmacy at my Walgreens store. As for the activity books, I have seen them in different places at different stores – by the pharmacy, on an endcap, with the kids’ books, and even (SCORE) on the clearance aisle! Good luck!

Leanne September 21, 2009 at 11:51 am

I got my $2 RR for the toothbrushes and I used the coupon so it worked for me!

I had a bunch of stuff and a bunch of coupons so I was a bit flustered. On top of that, a long line started growing behind me so I wasn’t thinking straight! I was unable to use most of my RR’s because I didn’t have enough items and I didn’t want to hold up the line anymore so I just paid $$$ for my things and left. I still got the deals, but I spend more oop than I needed. Oh well, all those RRs won’t go to waste – I’ll use them eventually!

Quaker Quick One-Minute Oats–On sale Buy One, Get One Free–2/$3.29
Buy 2 and use $1.25/2 coupon from 8/30 RedPlum inserts
$1.04 for two after coupon

You can only use 1 coupon because it’s off 2.

Money Saving Mom here: Yes, that’s what I meant to convey in the post, though I don’t know if it was very clear. I’ll fix that–thanks!

Heather September 21, 2009 at 1:12 pm

Marisa- Softsheen Carson is the manufacturer of Roots of Nature. The coupon definitely works and is meant to include the Roots of Nature line of products!
I use this on my daughter’s wild hair and it really helps!

Natasha September 21, 2009 at 1:45 pm

There is a new Walgreens coupon booklet available! They don’t expire until June 1, 2010 and some of them work with the medicine RR deal this week. See details here http://www.savingabundle.com/2009/09/abcs-walgreens-coupon-booklet.html

Denise September 21, 2009 at 6:14 pm

#30 toothbrushes were not working in the deal. So if you got a 30 that is why the RR did not print.

JulieJ September 21, 2009 at 8:54 pm

The Haggaen daz Five did work with the coupon. I bought the two Sudafeds but only received back one $5 RR. Also I used a coupon on the Buy One One free toothbrush and I did receive $2 RR. My Walgreens said they ran out of the Healthy Savings Coupon book early this month.

Erin September 22, 2009 at 11:47 am

The Airwick i-motion wasn’t on sale at a Walgreen’s outside of Dayton, OH. The Oral B toothbrushes weren’t on sale either. And the manager didn’t have a clue what I was talking about when I asked him about the Kid’s activity book (looking for the coupons). Any ideas?

Natasha September 23, 2009 at 5:05 pm

Marisa,

I had this problem about 6 months ago when I was doing a Huggies deal. Their RR machine was broken so I asked for the manager to manually get me an RR that I should have received. She tried to tell me that you can’t use coupons and get an RR at the same time.

I called customer service and they told me that this manager was wrong. They had the store manager, where I had this problem, call me and talk to me about the issue. Again he told me that the manager that had told me this was wrong. He promised me that it wouldn’t happen again.

So, if this happens to you I’d do a few things.

1. Did you buy the right item? There have been a few times when I have grabbed the wrong product so always double check the size, count, etc.

2. Did you use a register reward from the same RR deal you are trying to complete ? This can be easy to get mixed up sometimes. For example, the Medicine RR Deal this week has several different products to purchase but all of them are from the same deal so you can’t roll your RR’s between these products.

3. Is the RR machine broken? This has happened to me several times, so always ask. You have the right to those RR’s!

4. Ask for the Store Manager. If you said no to all of the above I would ask for the store manager. I am lucky to have a great store manager who seems to have all the answers! Hopefully your manager can help you too.

This is what I would tell you to do next but…..read below…. 5. Call Walgreens Corporate Customer Service 800-925-4733. If the manager insists you can’t use coupons and still receive a Register Reward you need to call Corporate and report this as it is not right.

……………..I called customer service today and asked, “If I use a manufacturer coupon on a product can I still receive a Register Reward? Guess what she said, “NO”? Talk about confusing? I explained to her what happened a few months ago when I called the very same number. All she could say was, “it’s always been our policy.” Then I told her just today I used a manufacturer coupon and received a Register Reward. She didn’t have anything to say to that. She told me she’d have someone “higher up” contact me. So we shall see what this person says….

Lemgirlcut September 24, 2009 at 10:09 am

Certain manu coupons will cause the RR not to print. You can check sone forums to see which bar codes will interfere with which RRs. But in general you cab totally use coupons and get RRs for the same item.

Tracey Sandmeyer September 27, 2009 at 2:57 pm

Does anyone know if the Walgreens in Topeka, KS have the coloring books? I checked at one location and they had no idea where they would be located.

Thanks!
