Walgreens

I thought the Walgreens deals were really incredible for this week already, but if you use this $5/$25 coupon Tuesday or Wednesday (September 29-30, 2009) of this week, you make the deals even sweeter!

Per the fine print, your total must be $25 after all coupons in order to use this coupon. However, if you purchase items which will produce Register Rewards (and there are certainly a boatload of those this week!), you can come out quite a bit ahead. See an example of a money-maker scenario here.

Thanks, Mojo Savings!

They always seem to release a coupon AFTER I already shopped. However, I didn’t spend anywhere near $25 this week! I ended up spending only about $14 dollar (starting with no rr) and ended with $10.50 rr and lots of stuff! Besides not spending that much, I have learned if you don’t get the free after rr items within the first 24 hours they are all gone.

Darn – I did my shopping yesterday! I ended up spending $20 oop and got $28 in RR back! I picked up some clearance things that weren’t on the list – I got children’s tylenol for $4 and some potting soil for $1 – but it ended up being a fantastic week! I would’ve been that much better with the coupon, but I’m not complaining (too loudly).

A little behind on commenting, but Walgreens would NOT accept this coupon. They said it was bogus even though I went back with a screen print showing that it was linked from Walgreens.com. =(

The closest Walgreens is actually not very close at all- I guess if I really wanted a bargain it would pay to drive the 25 min trip out there…….
