The code didn’t work for me. Is it only for first-time sign-ups?
Secondly, the September points aren’t automatic, are they? It seems like they send you an e-mail via the toolbar and you have to catch it in time (and possibly figure out a riddle) in order to get the code. If I’m wrong, that’s great news! I’d love it if you could clarify a bit more.

I’m new to Swagbucks and have a few quick questions for experienced Swaggers:
1. I entered your Swagcode from the post (using proper casing) and it told me it was an invalid code. Is that because I wasn’t signing up new. I haven’t used one of your codes before, so I would think it would work.
2. I downloaded the toolbar, but can’t tell if I got any points or not. Nor can I see the toolbar – any suggestions?
3. I shopped thru Swagbucks the other day to take advantage of the Books-a-Million sale. It said I should get a point for every 5 dollars spent. I spent just over $15, but didn’t receive 3 points. Do you have to “claim” your points somewhere or should they just automatically get credited? Is there a way to contact Swagbucks to “claim” the points I should have got?

I can’t get MSMswagcode to work for the 2 points. It says invalid code.
Does anyone know when they post the code for the day on the toolbar? I downloaded the toolbar yesterday afternoon when I got home from work but the code had already expired for yesterday (had to be redeemed by 2 p.m. Pacific time). I checked this morning and so far no code and now I am at work. I am going to be upset it I can’t ever get the Swagbucks because they don’t post before I leave for work and are expired by the time I get home!!!

Just a note: in order to get the daily point, you have to get your code from the toolbar and enter it into the Swagbucks site. Yesterday they gave less than an hour to do this, and I was away from my computer at the time–so, I didn’t get my Swagbuck yesterday. It looks like they will be doing it again today (since I have yet to receive my code). So, just be aware that you will need to be on your computer at the right time of day in order to get your code.

Thanks! thats awesome.. i just registered n got 3sbucks. But the promo code ‘MSMswagcode’ does not do anything to add 2 more sbucks to the account. It says ‘Pls enter a valid promo codde…!!!!’. I just wanted to check with you.
On your last post about swagbucks, I signed up… and in less than a week I have 10 points- YAY!. Except yesterday my daily code was expired by the time time I got home from work. Considering it was only 4 in the afternoon, I thought that was pretty quick to expire. Hope that doesn’t happen every day! Just wanted to thank you for turning me onto Swagbucks.
I think maybe the expiration was for 2 pm today? I don’t know but I just saw it less than an hour ago and it worked–you did read the part where it said to SEARCH for the word, not to put it into the SWAGcode box? As soon as I searched for it I “won” a SB

MSMswagcode did work for me, but I didn’t get 27 extra points for downloading the toolbar.

Money Saving Mom here: Melissa: You only get one free point per day for the month of September when you download the toolbar. I hope that helps!
A couple of hints: the codes only last a couple of hours at a time so yes, you have to be on the computer at the right time to take advantage of them. Mid-afternoon seems to be when they most often come out though. There’s one active on the toolbar right now…look for the icon that says “From TSG” and click it to find the messages. Also, it seems you can win SBs on a search about twice a day…approximately once every 12 hours. Referrals are the best way to make good use of this program…just get your friends to sign up under you and you can BOTH benefit. I’ve only been a member for about 3 months and have earned about $45 in Amazon gift cards so far.
What is the difference between My Points and Swagbucks?
I just signed up for the new toolbar and clicked on the TSG for my messages and it said I had one new code so I entered it into the search box and won 5 SB Thanks hopefully I get this lucky every day!!
Wow, how the heck are you guys earning so many swagbucks?? I’ve been using my swagbucks search engine for everything over the last couple months and only have 40 swagbucks so far. The most I’ve earned from any search was 2 swagbucks.
I downloaded and installed the toolbar and got the first code with no problem, but since I can only use that computer at home (we cannot install any software here at work), it’s basically been useless for me since then with the codes happening then expiring during mid-day/mid-afternoon. I would like to think they’ll maybe mix things up a little otherwise I guess I’ll just stick to earning my codes with searches – that seems easier and less frustrating
