Thank you! I heart MSM!
We use Sam’s. We do not pay a membership fee because we are on my husband’s grandfather’s business membership, but have wondered if we ever lost that perk if it would be worth the membership fee. I think it would be!
Some things that I didn’t see mentioned—our Sam’s sells gas. It is usually a few cents cheaper per gallon, for members, than even the cheapest gas stations in town. It is also right off the local interstate, so we will sometimes just stop to fill up if we are already passing it and need gas.
You can use Walmart gift cards at Sams.
The first time we had to buy tires for my car we called around to several places. Sams was way cheaper than everyone else. Then I got a flat while on a roadtrip and we were able to bring the car to the nearest Sam’s tires center and only pay a portion of the cost for a new tire (you pay some percentage based on how much of the tire was used–don’t quite remember the deal, kind of like a warranty).
You never know what you are going to find there. I really wanted an entryway bench ever since we lived in our house. I wanted a dark wood one since all of our furniture is dark wood. I could get one at Ethan Allen for $3,000 or a black or white one at Target for $300. One day there was a dark wood bench for $150 at Sam’s. The only problem is you have to buy it that day because you don’t know how long it will be left. I love the bench and don’t know what we did with my purse, dog leashes, towels to wipe wet paws, crocs to take dogs out, etc. before we had it!
Also got our TV there with a 3 year service plan. TV + service plan = way cheaper than all local stores without service plan.
She mentions diapers. We do get most of our’s there. At the beginning of the summer for the last 2 summers, we got big packs of fairly cheap swim diapers, too. We also use their own brand, Member’s Mark, wipes and have since our son was newborn and have been pleased. My son has excema and the wipes don’t bother his skin.
Zyrtec — you can get 300 of the generic version for $17 and change. That is almost a whole year’s supply!
I’m sure I am missing some deals we have gotten there-you just never know!
Starting 9/3, Wonder Bread is on sale at Giant Eagle for 2 for $3, use the $0.55 doubled and the bread is only 40 cents!

This dovetails nicely into the General Mills Catalina going on at Jewel this week. In fact if you had enough of these coupons (9) it would be a $2.75 moneymaker.
Didn’t know where to send this… Cascadian Farm coupons!
