If you got the coupon booklets from proctor and gamble, there is a $1 off Dawn hand renewal. It is on sale for $1. It is pink. And it’s part of the ecb deal. I was able to get 2 free!

I tried to do your deal of the Covergirl produts that end up being Free after coupons and ECBs but the cashier said its always the lower product that is free so she took the $6 item free and made me pay for the $9 item. It didn’t work out for me.

When there is a limit of one ECB on a product … is that per visit? per card? per day?

These deals are great, but I have 1 question about the Covergirl deal. In order for the deal to work, you would have to buy the $6 foundation and get the $9 product for free. I’m not sure if there is anything on the coupon or not because I am not looking at it, but most buy one get one offers say that the lower priced item is free, not the higher one. In that case, in the scenario above, you would spend $8 out of pocket and get $5 back. $3 dollars for 2 Covergirl products is still a good deal, but I was wondering if you could clear that up for me. Maybe I am missing something.

A $1.01 money maker – Speedstick Pro is 1.99 this week. There is a $1.50 CVS Q in the Reinventing Beauty mag. Had a $1.50 Speedstick manu Q leftover. If noone has these left, there are .75 Qs in the paper today, making it a .26 money maker. :)

Realized in the previous comment that I forgot to change the link in my name.

Thank You, Money-Saving Mom! I appreciate your info and my wife does too.

FYI for anyone else – the Clean and Clear printable only worked in IE for me, not Firefox. Also, it specifically says “excluding trial size,” so I don’t think it works here.

If you weren’t able to use the Mom’s Natural oatmeal coupon at Walmart last week (my walmart didn’t carry it), you could use it at CVS this week…they’re on sale for $1 each so after coupon, they’d be $.25

11 Finance Girl September 28, 2009 at 9:57 am

The CoverGirl coupon doesn’t say anything about the free item having to be less than the price of the foundation, but they wouldn’t take it for me either. Said it would only allow them to take off $6.19 (the price of the foundation).

I have NEVER been able to find the Reinventing Beauty magazine! Any ideas on where it is normally hidden?!?!

13 jen September 28, 2009 at 12:12 pm

Leanne- check where the newspapers are sold, by the pharmacy or the magazine rack. Also, the other day i asked and the manager add them in the back (not sure why!) and she got me one and it had 2 coupon inserts in it, lucky me!

I need a more experienced CVS’er to tell me if this will work:
Buy CG foundation $6
Buy another CG product $9
Use $3/$15 purchase register coupon (I get these alot)
Use BOGO coupon 8/30 P&G
Use $1/1 coupon 8/30 P&G
Makes total $5 OOP, earns $5 ECB’s making it Free.
(Takes into account they will most likely give the $6 item as the free one)
Thanks for any comments/help

There have been $1.50 off Tide Stain Release for the past few months in Parents and All You magazines. It is part of the buy $25 get $10 back, making the Tide $2.50 after the coupon!

I tried to print the coupon for the vasoline sheer lotion, but every link said that I already printed the coupon, but I did not, any ideas?

17 Denise October 2, 2009 at 9:57 am

18 Denise October 2, 2009 at 10:00 am
