My Reach coupon from the 8/2 S2 is only .50/1, not $1/1. :-( Bummer.

Walgreens has the Accu-Check glucose meters on sale for $9.99 from $19.99. In today’s Smart Source insert there was a coupon for up to $10 off an Accu-Check meter. Use the coupon and get it for free!

After a very dissapointing trip to Walgreens, I feel completely ripped off, I have now had two bad experiences there in a week and would love it if someone could clarify something to me;I went in to buy the Benadryl/Sudafed senario with one coupon for each and then hoping to get a $5 RR back, well I didn’t and they told me it was b/c I used a manufac. coupon for each one, has this happened to anyone before? Is this legal? They also didn’t let me use a maufact. coupon with the Walgreens Huggies wipes $2 coupon, they said they were both considered manufact. coupons and that the register wouldn’t recogonize it as different ones….

What does it mean when it says “*Limit 1 coupon printed per offer.” For instance, in the add where Crest toothpaste and Oral B toothbrushes are 4 for $10. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi…where did you get the information that Rimmel products are 40% off this week at Walgreen’s? I’ve seen this info on many blog sites, but I checked two Walgreen’s in my town and neither had this sale.

Thanks!

Stephanie

There are also $2 off 1 Sudafed product coupons in the 8/2 SS that also work on the Children’s Benadryl RR deal. Buy 2 Sudafed products, use 2 coupons, get back $5 RR, essentially only spending $0.50 per box of Sudafed. Hope this helps someone.

I’m in northern VA, and my Barilla coupons from the 8/23 insert were not good for any of the pasta on sale (only regular Barilla pasta was on sale and my coupons were for for Barilla plus, whole grain and mini-pastas). Just FYI.

If you live in Central MA, I was just at a Walgreens and realized that the ad for next week was in our Sunday papers. No wonder I was so confused with the deals Crystal posted.

beth August 24, 2009 at 10:47 am

in central va, we didnt get the barilla coupon or the rimmel coupon, shucks…

Chrys August 24, 2009 at 1:57 pm

When I went to Walgreens yesterday to do Listerine deal, there were $1.00 peelies on some of the (Agent CoolBlue) bottles so I used that with my BOGO coupon and the activity book.

Mariah August 24, 2009 at 8:32 pm

The Accu cheks at my wags also had a mail in rebate in the box making them a $9.99 money maker!

I too could not use the manuf. coupons with the Kellogg’s buy 2 for $5 and get $2 in RW. Also, I couldn’t use the manuf. coupons with the spend $10 or more on Kelloggs/keeblers/cheez its and get the $5 RW back. So I skipped the 10.00 deal. Is this legal for Walgreens to do?

Julie August 26, 2009 at 9:08 am

I was able to use the Kellog’s buy 2 for $5 and get $2 back only after I also bought a piece of candy for 33 cents. Otherwise the manager said the coupon wouldn’t work and he couldn’t override the coupon. What’s up with that?

Also they were out of the Reach toothbrushes at both stores I visited. It sure seems like a lot of work to get these deals. Is it worth it?

I had bought 3 Glade Air Freshener (Aerosol) a few months back at Walmart and they all had the little “pullies” for $2/1 Glade Fabric & Air Spray. This was a great coupon for me because I was able to get it on sale at Walgreen’s this week for $0.50/each (after coupon)! We use this a lot so it was a great find!

Kim F. August 28, 2009 at 6:51 pm

I know this is a little late in the week, but I went into my WAGs tonight, and they had a wide version of the ouchless headbands (SKU number 4145709295) on clearance for $1.29, but it still printed the $2 RR. Yay for Walgreens clearance!

Rae August 29, 2009 at 10:17 am

Mariah, you won’t get the MIR back after using a coupon on the meter. They are very smart about that with meters and will know and will only refund what (if anything) you actually paid.

Michelle August 29, 2009 at 1:13 pm

I have a ? about the children’s activity books coupons – you say they are $1 off 1 but they should take $2 off. How does that work? I don’t see on the coupon anywhere something like “limit of 2 per product” or something. So how does the $1 off 1 coupon take $2 off at the register? Thanks!
