National park service

Don't forget! This weekend is a fee-free weekend at U.S. National Parks around the country. Check out which parks in your area you can visit for free here.

Thanks, Danielle from Denver Metro Moms!

It is also worth mentioning that if you homeschool, you can get into National Parks free year-round as an educational perk. You may have to fill out a short form (called an educational fee waiver) at admissions, but it is simple and really adds up in savings. I took my daughters to the historic Jamestown settlement site and saved about $40 in admission costs by requesting the educational fee waiver for homeschools.

If you are age 62+ you can buy a pass to get into all National Parks for free for a one time fee of $10….and it is a lifetime pass. Pretty sweet deal.
