On the 10% off coupon it says it isn’t valid on sale items and cannot be combined with any other offer…herm

I tired to use the 10% off coupon at Rite Aid today. You cannot use this coupon on sale or clearance items.

Do you have a link for the Energy Smart light bulbs coupon? I’d love to snag a few of these!

Hi! Pretty sure there is a mistake here about the L’Oreal. On page 4 of the ad, it says it’s on sale for $2.99 and that after saving $1 from the Manu Q, you will pay $1.99. I did a quick search and confirmed that there isn’t a Rite Aid rebate for this item this month.

I’ve made this mistake myself on my own blog…and nearly made it again tonight on this one! Their ads are tricky sometimes! ;)

Crystal, can you explain the rebate program for Rite Aid? Seems like in the past when I’ve sent in the information for a rebate, I either never got the check or it just wasn’t worth the long wait. I did use the $5 off coupon the other day and that was worth it to me. Instant gratification!

I have a question – if you use a coupon while buying a free-after-rebate item, will you still get the entire rebate amount, or the rebate amount minus the coupon?

Bethany August 9, 2009 at 10:40 am

My store only had the Mentos rolls, not the gum, on sale. So I wasn’t able to do that deal. Oh well.

Emily August 9, 2009 at 9:32 pm

My local RiteAid (Spartanburg, SC) only has the Mentos “candy” on sale for .50/ea., not the gum. The coupon specifically says “GUM” so they wouldn’t allow me to use it. Is this all RiteAids, or just here?

The Energy Smart light bulbs link is dead.

Tricia Young August 10, 2009 at 12:53 pm

Arden NC RiteAid did not have Mentos on sale. Bummer b/c I had 10 coupons!

Emma K August 10, 2009 at 3:51 pm

If I’m looking at the ad correctly on their 99 cent sale items on the cover Dawn dishsoap on sale and there’s a .25 coupon in 6/28 P&G. I’ll have to go by my Rite Aid when I go to get coke to see if it’ll work or if my Rite Aid has it.

Maria145 August 15, 2009 at 8:12 pm

Heather-You will get the full rebate amount. It’s often times a moneymaker :-) Both of the Rite Aid’s in my city no longer accepted internet coupons : -((
