Pizza Hut: Book-It program for homeschoolers

If you homeschool and you have children in grades K-6, you can sign them up for the Pizza Hut Book-It program for free and your children can earn a free personal pan pizza every month they reach their reading goals. I fondly remember doing the Book-It program in grade school and now I'm excited to get to do it with my daughter who is in Kindergarten!

These are great programs. Our local Baseball team, (The Tampa Bay Rays) hooked up with local Libraries and when your kids met certain reading goals they would earn tickets to a game. This went over GREAT!, Each kid read about 24 hours this summer.

Kathi August 5, 2009 at 11:49 am: Back when my homeschooled kids were of an age to do this it was a choice between a personal pizza or a lunch buffet so we often got together after a group hs field trip and ate lunch at PH

Heather August 5, 2009 at 12:19 pm: Thanks so much…I would have forgotten about this. My oldest daughter just turned 5 in July…so we can qualify for this year! She will love this! (My 3 yr old daughter will be so eager for her turn!) This will help make reading a little more fun for her-anything to help make school exciting while balancing life with 3 little ones (5, 3, and nb) is a tremendous blessing to me!
