Speaking of restaurants & free stuff, I was just at Cold Stone. They had free samples of the 8 count Huggies Supreme Thick-n-Clean wipes at the register. They also have coupons for 75 cents off a 64 count package of wipes. The coupons are good until 12-31-09. I asked if these were samples, she said yeah, go ahead take a few, we have TONS. Yea!
Just an FYI…I got these today. They cost me 1.25 each. Still an awesome deal, but wanted to let you know that they may cost more than $1 at your McD’s.
Just wandering if they are “free” or “free with a purchase of something”? Thanks
Anyone found these in AZ?
they are $3.00 at my McDonald’s in Mesa, AZ for kids 12 and under
Tried 2 locations today but no luck. I wonder if I’m too early or too late. Or if not all locations are selling them?
I bought some of these for $1.50 each. I am in Mesa, AZ, we have only been able to find them at the McD’s on Ellsworth and Baseline.
Can you use more than one coupon per order? They are no good to me unless you can as I have three children so it would cost me a LOT more to go there and use them than to not go at all ;-p
I called my McD’s today and they said they had not gotten them in yet. They told me that that usually get them in a little closer to Halloween and advertise them as a great Halloween handout. That is actually not a bad idea. I live in an area where there aren’t very many Trick-or-Treaters. It may also be a good idea to split them up and give just one coupon to each child if you live in a larger area…although I would probably skip handing out the free milk or juice ones cause those aren’t very fun.
We’re in Indiana … anyone know if they are available here?
Not many locations have these, it seems. Anyone know of a way we can find out which states have them and which don’t? I’d really like to get my hands on some!
Joni, we haven’t tried to find the McD’s coupons books here yet, but I know Wendy’s had $1 booklets last Halloween that gave 10 child-size Frosty’s..so like 10 cents each. And they didn’t expire until the first of February. So we loaded up on those and enjoyed a Frosty a week for a couple of months. Just something to keep in mind.
I just called McD’s corporate office. Turns out the B2S coupon booklets are a local promotion and only offered in certain areas. The rep couldn’t tell me which stores even offer the booklet and said that they could be different booklets for different prices in different areas. His suggestion was to contact each store in your area to find out if they offer this promotion. 85% of their stores are franchises so each franchise can do different promotions. I’ve called 3 in my area and all were pretty clueless about it. No luck for me.
No luck here either…live in Wichita, KS…called 10 stores and corp office…no luck. Bummed!
I had no luck either. Anyone in the DFW area find these?
I live in the Raleigh, NC area and I called Corporate Marketing and spoke with a Julie. She said that these After School Snack coupon booklets are a seasonal item and it was up to each individual store whether to order them or not. Unfortunately, the Raleigh stores chose not to order them. BUT they will have an identical offer for the Halloween season. .same booklet, same price of $1 and these will go on sale late September, thru all of October. She mentioned 7 stores would have these Halloween coupon booklets: 2 stores in Cary: Cross Rds and Kildaire at Maynard and then 5 stores in Raleigh: Millbrook, Glenwood, Cameron Village, Western Blvd, and Lake Boone Trail. She mentioned that people like to get these coupons to hand out to trick-or treaters. . . I like getting 12 items for $1. . .
Thanks, Su. I live in the Raleigh area also. Knowing which stores to go to helps. We went to about 3 stores the last time the books were out and every one we talked to looked at us like we were crazy. I’ll be sure to get some this time around.
I bought one today in Mesa, AZ at the McDonald’s on Southern & Val Vista. It was $1.50 plus tax = $1.62. I also called the one at 1960 E. Main in Mesa and they say they have them for $1.50. Not as good as $1, but still a good deal.
