Kroger (TX and LA only): Super Double Coupon event on August 15, 2009

August 15, 2009, Kroger stores in TX and LA are running a Super Double Coupon event and will be doubling coupons up to $1. Read more details and check out a bunch of coupon match-ups here. And if you have coupon match-ups listed on your blog, please leave the link in the comments section.

2 The Prudent Homemaker August 12, 2009 at 3:56 pm: Our Kroger affliate (Smith’s) in Nevada is having a Founder’s Day open house on August 15th, with prize giveaways every 15 minutes (watermelon, dip, pies, bacon, ice cream, and candy). They are also going to have free samples and cake. The ad says “Save with Great Coupons in Every Department.” There are no coupons in the ad, so these must be in-store coupons.
They have a few good sales listed, including eggs for $1 a dozen.

Our store announce this on Monday morning. I went today and made my list with prices so I can be ready. I found that I have to be really careful because they have raised some prices and even with doubling it isn’t a good deal. It is best for me to wait till things go on sale. I got a letter from Kroger’s today with coupons. Starting Aug. 19-Sept 1 they are going to be running the Mega Event 5.00 off 10 items. They sent me coupons with the letter for some of the items. It looks like it is going to be a very good sale. I am saving some of my high end coupons for that sale.
