Horizon

If your Kroger store has Horizon Singles on sale for $1 and doubles $0.55 coupons, you can use the $0.55 coupon in the 8/2 inserts to get these for free. (Thanks, Marcy!)

Also, check out the Hamburger and Chicken Helper section to see if there are certain flavors marked-down to $0.80 each. If so, and if your store is running the Buy 10, Get $5 off promotion, you can buy these for $0.30 each after the promotion. And, if you use the $0.75/3 coupon from a recent insert or the $0.75/3 Shortcuts ecoupon, you can get these for free. (Thanks, CouponNerd!)

Do the Kroger deals run at Dillon’s too? For some reason I thought they had same store brands, etc.

Money Saving Mom here: Yes. Dillon’s is an affiliate store of Kroger so the sales are usually the same or very similar.

Also, there’s an amazing cereal sale going on at some Kroger’s right now (Indianapolis for one). Using the Kellogg’s Fuel for School insert from the paper a few weeks back, purchase 12 Kellogg’s cereals and use 6 $1/2 coupons on select cereals marked 4/$6 (they are marked individually as 4/$10, but $4 comes off immediately at the register when you purchase 4). Then send in your rebate for $10 back, and you’ve just purchased 12 cereals for 17 cents each!

Here’s the breakdown:
12 cereals at $1.50 each = 18.00
6 coupons for $1/2 = 12.00
1 rebate for $10 back = 2.00!

And this deal could possibly be a money-maker if you have any $1/1 coupons for any of those Kellogg’s cereals (they can be found in specially marked boxes of Frosted Mini-Wheats, for example).

The .55 cent coupon on the Horizon milk is on the 3 pack. You can only use the .25 cent one if you buy them single.

How are you getting these free? Kroger only doubles up to .50.

There are several unadvertised deals in this Mega Sale. I noted in my Kroger matchups (SE ATL region) that some of the Hamburger Helper’s included in the Mega Sale are marked down to $.45. Matched with the $.75/3 coupon makes them only $.20 per box! (my store only doubles up to $.50)

I also have several of the other unadvertised deals included in my matchups too with pictures!

I thought the .55 coupon was for the 3 pack and the .25 coupon was off 1?

Melanie, some Krogers double coupons up to $1. I’m in the same boat you are though :o (
