I am a little new to this. I used the $5/25 coupon on my last transaction at CVS but I was able to print another one after answering the questions again – will I be able to use it or will it recognize that I already used one?

Marla August 23, 2009 at 8:23 am

In my area (Georgia), the Poise liners are 2/$4, making it a moneymaking deal with two printables and free with the Reinventing Beauty coupons. (Unfortunately my store didn’t have the right size package for the deal – not even a space on the shelf!)

Michelle August 23, 2009 at 8:57 am

Just a head’s up…my CVS (I’m in Pennsylvania) is not including the Definity cleansers or facial scrubs in the ECB deal this week. The only products generating the ECB’s are products that are $24.99 and up.

Michelle August 23, 2009 at 8:58 am

Jeanne, I’ve printed and used that $5/$25 twice, no problem.

Kristen August 23, 2009 at 9:19 am

You can use the coupon again. I just printed out three of them and divided up my order and they used all three! I got paid to buy a bunch of stuff by the time i was done.

Thank you for all you do!!! I wait for your lists every week. —Kami

I tried the Olay Definity deal and it did not work. The manager said the cleaners are not a part of the deal and would not force the ecbs to print. They did give me a credit but I wanted to warn anyone thinking of trying that deal. When I looked the cleansers were not marked with the sale tags. hth

Buy 2 Poise liners or pads at $2.50 each
Use 1 $1.50/2 manufacturer’s coupon
Use 2 $1.50/1 CVS coupons from the Reinventing Beauty magazine

Unfortunately you can not combine these coupons as the RIB coupon is also a MANUFACTURER’s Coupon. :o (

Lizz @ Yes, and So is My Heart August 24, 2009 at 7:10 am

I also looked into the Olay deal at my store and realized it wasn’t going to work. Then, I looked more closely at the ad and it seems pretty obvious from the add that it only works if you buy 2 products for 24.99. Bummer! Also, I asked about Ready Fill and got some coupons for which I’m grateful. I did want to give you a heads up that my coupons don’t include the $4/$20 that you mentioned. Bummer!

Missy August 24, 2009 at 8:17 am

Just wondering if anyone knows if Wal-Mart would admatch a CVS price AFTER the ECB. Example, the ad this week shows a 2-pack of Clear Care contact solution for $14.49 with $5 ECB, making it $9.49. Would Wal-Mart admatch at the $9.49 price? I don’t go to CVS often enough that I’d be likely to use the ECB, but that would be a great price for the contact solution!

Jamie Jeffers August 24, 2009 at 8:32 am

I don’t know if Walmart would allow that, since they would then have to give away products for free every week. Maybe you could go to CVS and use the ECB right away (in two transactions) on something you need anyway like milk.

Caroline August 24, 2009 at 8:53 am

I wasn’t able to use the $5/$25 coupon again – the register recognized that I had already used it.

Shelly August 24, 2009 at 9:10 am

I’m in east Texas, and the milk at CVS is on sale (in store) for $1.89/gallon, which is a great price here!

Andrea August 24, 2009 at 10:06 am

For those of you who have used your $5/$25 twice, did you print 2 from your printer menu or did you take the quiz twice? I’m just curious because I was hoping to take the quiz again to get another coupon. Never had problems at the register and was hoping my streak would continue :)

Thanks for all the great info here! Great site.

Andrea August 24, 2009 at 10:48 am

Just saw this on Deal Seeking Mom. Maybe this will help some. So unless it says one per person, I think I’ll try on another computer.

Note: The coupons print with an individual number on them. Though you will be able to print multiples, only one per computer may be redeemed.

I got a great deal on Aveeno! I noticed that the positively ageless sunscreen was on sale for $9 like all the other sunscreen. So, I bought three that said “face” on them under the SPF # ($27). I then used my $10 off 3 Positively ageless coupon, the $5 off $25 for taking the survey, a $3 off $15 sunscreen CRT, and then tried the $4 off $20 facial skin care coupon for the readyfill book (since they said “face” on them, I thought I’d try it). It worked! I asked the lady, “Can I use this if I’ve already used the $3 off $15 suncare one?” She didn’t really even question it, just said, “I’ll scan it and see.” And sure enough it worked. So, I spent $5 in ECBs, $1.25 tax (on a gift card) and got $10 back. So, in essence, I got three expensive sunscreens for $3.75 PROFIT! :)

Jennifer G. August 24, 2009 at 12:51 pm

Snagged a great deal today!
4 12-packs of Mountain Dew – $12.00
MI Bottle Deposit – .10 x 48 = $4.80
Aveeno Nourishing Shampoo- $6.00
(2) Aveeno Nourishing Leave-in Conditioning Treatment- $6.00 ea ($12.00)
Aveeno Positively Radiant Exfoliating Pads- $7.00

Total, with tax, before coupons = $44.30

Coupons Used-
$2.00 off any Aveeno Product
$2.00 off any Aveeno Product
$17.14 ECB’s
$6 off $36 CVS Coupon

Total Out Of Pocket = $15.96
PLUS I got $13.00 ECB’s back, and when I return the empty Mountain Dew Cans, I get my $4.80 back!!

In the end, got all this stuff for free AND made a profit of $1.84!! It’s like getting paid to shop!!

Thanks Crystal, for posting heads-up on coupons and for all the different scenarios!! :)

Warmest Regards,
Jennifer

I printed the $5/$25 ReadyFill quiz coupon a week or so ago and used it. Then I took the quiz again and printed another today and tried to use it (it even had a different expiration date), but the register beeped and said I had already used it. Just for everyone’s info.

Now I’m wondering how many of the ReadyFill coupon booklet $4/$20 coupons we can use? Has anyone experienced using more than the 2 of those coupons?

WE have always found the the CVS stores in Clearwater Florida go out of their way to give good service, help with prescription questions, and offer good prices. However, my wife goes into CVS for one thing and comes out with $60.00 worth of stuff most of the time. CVS is still the best drug store, or general variety store,or food store if you want to call it that. Thank you for all the money-saving suggestios.

AmEx gift cards are generating a $5 ECB at CVS this week. There’s a $3.95 fee to purchase them, but if you were already in the market for such a gift card, it’s a small moneymaker.

Brooke P August 24, 2009 at 2:37 pm

Wow, Lana. That’s great. I didn’t get quite as good of a deal, but I was able to find items that I really like and use regularly at decent prices. I bought a facial moisturizer with sunscreen, a baby care item and a facial cleanser, all of which are my regular items. Total was something like $27.19, which is a lot, granted. However, I used $5 in Qs, 2 $4/$20 in different transactions with other good deals, and got the $10 back. So, according to my calculations, I spent $4.19 for all of that. A good deal in my book.

Just curious, did you find the sunscreen with the other sunscreens? I didn’t even bother to look there because the facial sunscreen was with the other facial care items. Good job!

BTW, the Carefree were not in our circular or in the stores here in Nor Cal.

Andrea August 24, 2009 at 3:04 pm

Has anyone bought the Five Star Notebooks/Binders for the $5 EBs?? It says spend $15 and that prices start at $3.19. Is that price for the notebooks that have the $1 coupon or the binders that have a $2 coupon? It would be perfect if it were the binders. Combine the (5) $3.19 plus and AccuCheck for a total of $26 minus the $10 AccuCheck, $5/$25 and (5) $2 binder Qs for a real deal. Not so good if it’s the notebooks :(

I’d appreciate any help. We don’t live near a CVS and get one shopping trip out, so I like to have all my ducks in a row before we go. TIA

Amanda August 24, 2009 at 3:59 pm

There are coupons inside the Glade Sense & Spray packages (at least there were in mine). $3/1 Sense & Spray starter kit and $1/2 Sense & Spray refills. They’re not as good as the coupons in the paper, but maybe they’d be helpful in doing a second deal if you like these (since the limit on the Glade thing is 3).

amy August 24, 2009 at 4:06 pm

Buy 1 Caliber or CVS band Composition Book at $0.99, Get $0.99 ECBs (Limit 2) and you get a pen or highlighter for 0.1cents

Kathryn August 25, 2009 at 4:13 am

Thanks for the tip on the coupons inside the box. I forgot to check after I bought mine.

denise August 25, 2009 at 5:18 pm

Used two $5/25 coupons, printed from two computers.

claire at choyster cash August 25, 2009 at 6:58 pm

Sadly, no free carefree here in california! And with the olay disappointment I’m feeling a tiny bit sad – but Aveeno will make up for it;)

Rams August 26, 2009 at 6:50 pm

Got ACCUCHECK 10$ SS coupon. The system was on sale for exactly 10$. when purchased, another coupon printed out for CVS brand toothbrush of 2.25 value. After I got that and checked out, it again printed a coupon of free CVS brand skin care lotion within 1.69$.

So I got 3 items totally free. Love love it
