Cal Target awhile ago & tried the same thing & the cashier said she couldn't do it either. I didn't have the time to pursue it then, so I left without my 'deals'. I went back another day ready to ask to speak to the manager if they couldn't 'adjust' the coupon down, and the cashier took all of the coupons I had. Go figure. I saw a few postings online regarding their coupon policy, but since the posts were old, I wasn't sure if their policy had changed for this year. I haven't been able to get any of the Degree deodorants or Vaseline Aloe lotions. They won't mark the coupon down to the purchase price, EVEN AFTER I showed them a printout of their coupon policy, which states that that's what they are to do. After taking a break from couponing and deal shopping, I geared up again and headed to Target to get some of the free with coupon deals.Most of our travel items are $.97, and the coupons are $1. My Target won't allow me to use the coupons for the items and say they don't have a way to "adjust" the coupon value down!Have you heard of anyone else having this problem? I am so irritated!
