Target has a new exciting policy. They now price match according to page 2 of my ad. For more information check http://thecouponhigh.blogspot.com/2009/07/exciting-new-policy-at-target.html
Thanks for the info on target.
One bit of info: Target will not accept super target coupons(so the edys ice cream coupon didnt work for me), unless you are at a super target store.
Also..have you ever come across a site that you can get singulair allergy medicine coupons?
I use Super Target coupons at a regular Target occasionally and have never had a problem. Maybe it depends on your store’s policy.
I wrote up a deal on the Softsoap/Irish Spring Bodywash that is also apart of the $5.00 Target gift card promo that ends TODAY! You end up only paying $.30 per bottle of bodywash. Go here to view the deal

I also use Super Target coupons at my Target in Cleveland, TN…i think its up to the managers discretion if they will accept them or not. (At least, that is what the cashiers have told me).
The Johnson’s soap buddies are .97 cents at my Target and they will not accept the $1.00 coupon for them. Does anyone else have trouble with these coupons at your Target stores?
Hi, I was at Target today and noticed that the Huggies Pure n Natural diapers didn’t ring up at $8.99–they were regular priced.
The Keebler cookie $5 gift card deal – is that regional, or just possibly unadvertised? It’s not in my circular. Just asking because I was going to have my mother do this deal for me (no Target near me), but I don’t want to risk confusing her.
I called our local Target and they said that the Target online coupon for Kashi waffles can’t be combined with the Kashi web coupon because the Target coupon says “limit one offer per transaction.” Have other people combined them successfully?
I ditto Jenny’s comment…I notice you regularly include $3/1 Huggies Pure & Natural coupons in your Huggies deals, but those diapers are TWICE the price as normal Huggies (my Target had Jumbo packs at $18.99 each…a ridiculous price for diapers!).
MN stores have been doing this for awhile so I posted the price matching policies here: http://www.pocketyourdollars.com/2009/06/target-stores-are-price-matching/
Supertarget in the KC area has stopped accepting the Edy’s coupon for $1 off on the single serve size. I have used the Kashi Web coupon with the supertarget coupon for Kashi waffles successfully multiple times including tonight.
Didn’t those Pace coupons all expire on the 5th?
Yes, I too am wondering about the Keebler deal and if that is regional. I’m thinking that is what is going on with some of these deals. I went last week and bought the 10 Eggo Bake Shop items and didn’t get the $5 gift card that was supposed to come with it. It wasn’t in our ad and the register didn’t prompt them to do one. I spoke to a manager who was super nice about it and because the register didn’t prompt and because it wasn’t in the ad they couldn’t do it. I still got a heck of a deal on that stuff.
Degree Body Mist is $3.69 at my Target, not $3.29 so not free for me even with Target and manufacturers coupons
Honestly, I am DONE with Target. I have experienced ALL of the issues listed above and many other crazy scenarios, and I really don’t think that it has anything to do with the manager’s discretion. I believe that it has to do with the fact that the employee’s simply have no clue what to do with coupons and usually just make something up in an effort to refuse them. During my last few trips to Target, I have heard every excuse in the world NOT to accept my coupons. They even refused my TARGET coupon! I asked them where in the world they intended me to use it, and they responded that they didn’t know. Unbelievable! I have called their corporate office in Minneapolis and have been reassured of their coupon policy, but my local store is CLUELESS! I am tired of them making me feel like I am doing something wrong when I use a coupon! Unless it is an unbelievably great deal, I will shop elsewhere!
To; Shelly the Chic Crafty Chick,
The Eggo things were only on sale they did not have a gift card that came with them. The Keebler cookies and crackers have a $5 gift card when you buy 5. My regular Target just has signs up on the shelf with the price and gift card info.

I Fully agree with you. I have access to many computers and have printed multiple coupons of the sobee and the nexcare bandages. I have 5 Target stores in my area and I get different excuses all the time for not taking my coupons. Some stores had problems with the nexcare coupons, some didn’t. Some had problems with the Sobee coupons, some didn’t. I even had a supervisor tell me he couldn’t take the sobee coupons and refused to tell me why. Absolutely refused! Luckily they were having a big meeting that day and I was able to speak to a top guy there and they finally accepted the coupons. It still took 15 minutes to get someone to ok everything. I constantly expect to be given the run around whenever I use coupons. I’m so sick of it. I’m always feeling like I’m being sneaky or trying to steal items. Target needs to make a good coupon policy and stick to it and make sure their employees know. Does anyone have any suggestions about this? Is there anything we can do or bring as back up, or do we just have to put up with it?
FYI, Maria-If the coupon value is higher than the price of the product, the cashier is supposed to “price adjust” the coupon. They can do this at the register…
And I agree with everyone’s comments. Each cashier and manager has different ideas of what is ok and allowed with coupons. I have the Target corporate number plugged into my phone (1-800-440-0680). I’ve never had to, but I’ve “threatened” to call many times while I’m at the register. I think it’s just a matter of stating your position and making sure what you’re doing with your coupons is allowed within Target policy. It IS ok to combine target Q’s with MF Q’s. It IS ok to use a Q that is higher value than the item. Just make sure that the Q’s are not expired and there shouldn’t be any problem…If the cashier or whoever gives you problems all you have to do is call corporate and they should be able to explain it. (But I’ve never gotten to that point!) Good luck all!
The SOBE coupons are one per customer. Target only let me use one for the purchase.
I, too, have always loved Target and rarely, if ever, shopped at Walmart. But I have pretty much given up doing much couponing there and save it for Meijer instead as it seems their employees all know the coupon policies and I never have any hassle from them.
BTW, is it ethical to print more coupons if you have more than one computer in your home~isn’t the intent of the manufacturers to limit a certain amount of coupons per household? Just something to consider so we don’t abuse a good thing:)
Whenever I go to Target with a $1.00 off coupon with no exclusions and the item I buy is $.98, they tell me that I cannot use the coupon because it is under a dollar. Huh?
