For the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, don’t you need the regional Target Q from SS (from last week, I think?!?) to get the $5 Gift Card?

Katie July 28, 2009 at 9:25 pm

With the Smart Ones- there is also a coupon in the Aug 2009 All You Magazine for a free Smart Ones dessert with purchase of 4 (or 5??) entrees!! FREE GROCERIES!!! Woo-hoo:)

A note on the Elmer’s glus sticks: I was at Target today and did not immediately see the 6-packs, but did find 2-packs for $0.25. That works out to be a better deal than the 6-packs. Of course, when I did find the 6-packs, I verified that they were the same size glue sticks as the 2 packs. Anyway you cut it 8/$1 beats 6/$1.

PopTarts are $1.69 for 8 ct box, in SE WI (Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie location on Hwy 50 or 75th St). The Cinnabon were over $2…I’d would need $2 off coupon to get them below $1 a box price.

I wanted to tell you that I just sent you an e-mail regarding a readers review. She mentions your blog as one of her favorites and I wanted you to see what she wrote!! This is the kind of letter that gives me the energy I need to keep on doing what I am doing!! Some days I get discouraged because I seem like I’m getting no where with my blog or that it really doesn’t matter, but when I get a letter like this, it makes it all worth while! The funny thing about it is, I didn’t even ask her to write this or know she did. I was checking out my URLs for the day and saw her blog coming through, and when I went to go check out what the blog was all about this is what I found:

FYI, I tried to do the White Strip deal today and they would not take the coupon. It’s only good for the 14 ct. box.

**********************
Money Saving Mom here: Some of the coupons specified a size and some were on any size. If you have the any size ones, they should definitely work as a number of people I know have been able to get them with those coupons.

Hope that helps!

Crystal – i linked to your post in my post about back to school deals. Thanks so much! Have you heard of the Homeschool Freebie of the Day? My post explains it, July 29th’s freebie is really cool!

Thanks for always bringing awesome deals!

jen July 29, 2009 at 6:05 am

The Kashi Waffle printables wouldnt work for me. Are they out of prints for everyone?

Stephanie July 29, 2009 at 6:08 am

Awesome! Thank you! I have been loving Target lately. The store came into our area 2 years ago and I have never set foot into it until lately. Although I am finding the cashiers don’t seem to be too coupon savvy. It takes me forever to checkout! That’s ok though, I have gotten so many great deals its worth the wait!

Kim Choney July 29, 2009 at 6:45 am

The Kellogs Cinnabon bars are $2.75 at my Target and aren’t on sale. But the Smart Ones deal is wonderful!!!

Jessica July 29, 2009 at 6:59 am

Has anyone found the whitestrips at a store other than Target? My regular Target didn’t have any ( that I could find).

Christy Carden July 29, 2009 at 8:19 am

I did a little research on the Scrubbing Bubbles thing thinking it would be great to get it for $1, but wouldn’t the refills of cleaners cost a lot. I thought, “You must be able to put another cleaner in the gadget, but of course Arm and Hammer would want to make you think that you have to buy their product.” I found a frugal college student that came up with this solution:

Thanks for sharing!

Sherri July 29, 2009 at 10:15 am

i didnt have any luck on the 1.50 kashi coupon. I guess it is over. :( I just discovered how tasty these were last week and was looking forward to scoring some more. Oh well.

Ariaun July 29, 2009 at 11:44 am

I think the Scrubbing Bubbles deal must be regional. I went to Target today in TN, and they were not on sale, nor was there a $5 gift card offer.

megan July 29, 2009 at 12:05 pm

I saw the scrubbing bubbles deal for a gift card in my target ad this past Sunday. When I was at checkout they did not give me a $5 gift card and so I had them check the ad. Turns out, the advertisement was no where in their ad, which I had clearly seen in mine that I got on Sunday so they didn’t give me a gift card. I’d already thrown my papers in the recycling so I can’t check – and I don’t think I’m crazy? Anyone have an idea what might have happened?

Kristin July 29, 2009 at 12:05 pm

I haven’t been to Target yet to see how much Bic products are, but there is a manufactures coupon at print.coupons.com/couponweb/and target coupon on hotcouponword…both for $1/2

Kristen July 29, 2009 at 12:45 pm

I just want to say thanks for all that you post. So much is helpful and Ive been able to stock up on so much free stuff!
Luckily I had a wonderful gentleman cashier who took the coupons without a hassle. He stated the tide should have been bigger ones and I stated it doesnt say trial so he took them anyways!

FYI…as far as the scrubbing bubbles goes. There was a coupon in this past sunday’s paper for the $5.00 gift card when you buy it. It was not in the ad from what i am aware of. So you need to redeem that coupon to get it.

w July 29, 2009 at 3:18 pm

Yep, the scrubbing bubbles is in the 7/26 SS. It’s a coupon for a $5 gift card.

Leigh Caldewll July 29, 2009 at 10:36 pm

I was able to get the Crest whitening strips today!! They also had the Gillett Fuzon razor for $4.99 on an endcap and I used the $4 off coupon and scored it for .99 cents!

Chrissy July 30, 2009 at 10:03 am

My checker gave me a hard time about the Crest Whitestrips (only on the ones I wanted to use the $7 coupon on – the $5 coupons from the newspaper inserts went through just fine.) I showed her a copy of corporate coupon policy and asked her to try to adjust them down, she said no and sent me to guest services. At guest services, the first two ladies said no, they could not adjust it down. I kept asking them to try (respectfully), and they finally asked a lady who knew what she was doing and she did it happily for me. Then the first two gave me my copy of corporate policy back in a rather mocking manner. BUT, after all the trouble, I did get 12 boxes (about $60 value!) for free! :)

Ane Brock July 31, 2009 at 12:05 pm

Nexxus Hair products are on 10% off this week along with a buy two and get a $5 gift card. Use 2/$3 from 7-12-09 SS along with the $3 Target coupon from the August issue of Instyle magazine. The 13.5 oz Therappe shampoo was on sale for $7.38 so I spent .76 for two bottles.

Stacy Finch August 1, 2009 at 6:45 pm

I have tried at two different Targets to use the $7 coupons for the White Strips without luck. Even with the store manager, I couldn’t convince them to do it.

Leah August 2, 2009 at 6:51 pm

This post really helped me out. I just left Target with $75 worth of stuff for $15!!!The Crest Whitestrips coupons for $7 did work for me but the cashier did have to key them in manually. Thank you so much for the great tips!!!
