Stop & Shop: Free Multigrain Cheerios and Yo-Plus

by crystal on July 31, 2009

Stop and shop
For the next week, Stop & Shop has Multigrain Cheerios on sale 4 for $6. Print 4 $0.75/1 coupons here, here, or here and Stop & Shop will double them to $1.50 off making them free after the store sale.

In addition, Yo-Plus yogurt is on sale for $2 and after the $1/1 coupon here (doubled), it's free!

Thanks, Ann!

If your Stop & Shop has a RedBox kiosk, through August 13, 2009, you can get a free rental when you use code 7sD4BWL8. Thanks, Frugal Living and Having Fun!

Unfortunately the Stop & Shop doubler coupons cannot be used on Internet coupons (boo!). The fine print states the coupons must be clipped from newspapers or magazines.

Also, I believe the $.75 Cheerios coupons state – “do not double” (boo again). Sometimes the cashier forgets and doubles them anyway which is nice.

Giant stores have nearly identical ads to Stop & Shop since they are “sister” stores.

Muir Glen soups as low as $0.19/each after $1 printable coupon + dollar doubler coupon
Many Muir Glen soups also have a $1 coupon adhered to the front of the can, so this could possibly be a rollable deal.

Chef Boyardee Ravioli is also FREE after $1 Internet printable, since it’s 10/$10.

Oral B toothbrushes (2/$4) are FREE after $1 07/05 P&G coupon (expires 07/31 so jump on it) + dollar doubler coupon.

The cereal deal is good at Giant too if you’re in the DC area.

If you want to double the $1 coupon you need a dollar doubler coupon from the insert that was in the paper (at least you do for Giant).

stop n shop does not double $1 coupons

I was just at Stop & Shop this morning to do a Cheerios deal similar to this one, and it turns out that the offer is actually “save $6 on 4, off regular retail” (our flier has different wording in two places). With this week’s Stop & Shop “dollar doubler” coupons, I used two printable “$1 off honey nut cheerios” and “$1 off two cheerios” coupons to get four boxes for $4.36.

Btw, I had more than four of this week’s Stop & Shop “dollar doubler” coupons, but the store will only take up to four.

Stop & Shop doubles $1 coupons??

Tashima July 31, 2009 at 11:51 am

Great Coupon regardless, but the cheerios, once you print them out say do not double. Just a heads up.

Denise July 31, 2009 at 1:10 pm

Do you think this applies to Giant as well?

Jenna July 31, 2009 at 1:14 pm

I thought that they only doubled coupons up to $1, unless it is during one of their special promos where they double the dollar ones. That would make the Fiber One deal $1, and not free??

Amiyrah July 31, 2009 at 1:22 pm

the printables say “do not double” right on the top, so be careful with this deal

Colleen July 31, 2009 at 1:43 pm

Thanks for the heads-up! I will certainly get some of the cereals. We’re all set with cereal for awhile here; but for free, I can donate them to the foodbank. And I’m always looking for redbox codes! Have a great week!

I don’t think it matters if the coupons says Do Not Double or if it’s an IP. I believe they scan the Doubler coupon, which just takes $1 off your order for each coupon. The store is giving you an extra dollar for up to 4 of your $1 qs.

I did get the cereals and yoplus, I guess the cashier is nice enough…oops. =) but maybe it’ll not go through sometimes? The $1 double coupon only this week.

Kate July 31, 2009 at 5:01 pm

I just used it at our Stop and Shop and got the Multi Grain Cheerios for free (4 boxes) but the Yo-plus did not double so I only got the $1.00 off the sale price. Still overall, 4 boxes of cheerios and 2 yo-plus yogurts (4 in a pack) all for $2.00!

Trinity July 31, 2009 at 7:02 pm

The Stop & Shop stores I have been to always double coupons up to 99 cents, even when it says at the top not to double.

I did this deal today and now have four free boxes of Cherrios.

Michele July 31, 2009 at 10:13 pm

I just did it tonight at Giant, and it worked great! Here in DC we have to spend $15 to use the doubler coupon (up to 4 of them). I did the self-checkout, and realized as I scanned the $1 doubler coupon that it really just works as a $1 off coupon. The Multi-Grain Cheerios came out free (-75 cents and then doubled) and the YoPlait came out free (-$1 and the the doubler coupons). Great deals! Thanks!

I went to each link and there were no .75 off Cheerios; maybe it is regional coupons? The ones I printed, .55 off honey nut and yoplus, say do not double. I’ll have to check if anny coupons i printed awhile ago aren’t expired, I remember .75 off multigrain…

Swap Savers August 2, 2009 at 8:57 am

I do not see $0.75 off coupon only $0.55 off coupons in all places. Am I missing something?
