“Offer not valid in Hawaii…” Oh how I dislike those. Oh well, at least we are able to participate in the free coffee from McDonald’s.
Thanks for posting
I don’t want a free pastry. I want a free bagel. Pretty please.
too bad the “starbucks” in my barnes’n'noble is not technically a “starbucks” – they just sell starbucks coffee and wear starbucks aprons and have starbucks marketing everywhere. would have been nice to know before i hauled my two-year-old and my one-year-old out there in the pouring rain this morning to redeem my coupon only to be told they would not accept it. *grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!*
We enjoyed a delicious slice of pound cake and a lowfat muffin at 10:25 am. Everything else was sold out.
The line was out the door at the one by my work, so we didn’t even go in.

My husband was given a Starbucks gift card. We don’t drink coffee, but I was able to use it towards a strawberry frappachino, and a croissant–and it was free! (A nice treat after picking apples this morning at 6:20 am!)
Not only did my store honor my coupon and the one for the man in line in front of me, they also offered the deal to the woman who came in after me who didn’t even have a coupon. She thought they were joking when they told her she could have something free, and she was so excited!
The man who took my order also told me that if I bring back my receipt on the same day after 2pm, I could show it and get a cold drink for $2. (I didn’t think to ask what size; sorry). He said all summer they have this deal–buy something in the morning, and bring back your receipt the same day after 2pm until closing for a cold drink for $2 (same day purchases only).
