Meijer
Meijer has an incredible small money-maker catalina deal that is available through July 11, 2009–which can be rolled and rolled until you are tired of rolling it!

Here's how it works:

Buy any 2 Dole bagged salads and 1 package of Naturewell beef and receive a $3 catalina good on your next order. The Dole classic iceberg lettuce is on sale this week for $0.98 and the Dole coleslaw is $1/bag. There should be Meijer Healthy Living booklets available near the meat department with a $1.50/2 Dole salads coupon in them.

The least expensive Naturewell meat is ground beef which is $3.49 per pound. There is no minimum amount of beef which must be purchased for this deal so you can request a half-pound package to make this a great deal.

So, here's the breakdown:

Buy 2 Dole classic iceberg salads at $0.98 or $1 each
Buy 1/2 lb. Naturewell ground beef at $1.75

Use the $1.50/2 Dole salad coupon from the Meijer Healthy Living booklet
Spend approximately $2.21 out of pocket
Get a $3 catalina back
Free plus small overage after coupon and catalina

Then, if you want to "roll" your catalina, just do the same transaction above and add in a small filler ($0.80 or so) and you'll pay pretty much nothing out of pocket and earn another catalina. And you can do this as many times as you'd like until you are well-stocked up on meat and salads.

A big thanks to Katie from Cinncinnati Cents for sharing this deal!

I did this deal multiple times last week when the salad was 75 cents and the ground beef was $2.19/lb. I ended up with 12 pounds of beef and 18 bags of salad for less than $5!! I froze the beef and distributed most of the salad to friends and family!! I think I am set on beef for a while!

I looked into doing this last week, but my Meijer doesn’t seem to carry Naturewell meat. Is that true for anyone else?

YMMV on this one, the coupon in the booklet is for the “Distinctively Dole” Salad Blends, my store won’t take them unless you buy the bagged salads that say that on the bag, which are the more expensive salads.

This is great!! I need both gorund beef and salad! Where do you get the Meijer Healthy Living booklet?

wow, I’m sorry! I thought I’d read the whole post, but apparently I skimmed over the part that says they’re by the meat dept., lol!

The deal didn’t work for me Saturday June 27 in Columbus, OH (it did work Friday June 26).

If you go to naturewellbeef.com you have a chance to get a $.55 coupon and last week I was able to print unlimited quantities.

This worked for me in Nothern Indiana, but my store didn’t have any of the coupons…still a GREAT deal, though! Thanks for posting it!

There is also a .50 coupon on Naturewells site if you share a story. When this doubles to a $1 the deal gets even sweeter!

I tried this today (7/1) at my Meijer in central Illinois and it did not give me the catalina. They also did not have the booklet and I even asked about them. No one had a clue! Bummer! Really need beef!

I just did this in Columbus, Ohio. They didn’t have ground beef but they had Steaks clearanced to $3 something. The booklets were on a shelf across from the fresh bulk meat case. Thanks so much for sharing!! The coupon does say only one coupon per day. We are going to go back tomorrow and do it again. Thanks!!

Does anyone know how long this deal is running for?
