Play the Guiding Stars Game on the Food Lion website here to learn about how Food Lion rates items based upon nutrition. You will then be able to print a coupon for $1 off any item which has received a rating of 1, 2, or 3. These items include things like milk and produce. If you buy small amounts of fruit and vegetables at a time, you can get them free with this coupon!

After I finished the survey, the site tries to take me to the page for the coupon, but gets hung up.

What actual foods or beverages will work with this? Will there be a “star” on price tag at Food Lion???

Kathy @ $30 Weekly Grocery Challenge July 8, 2009 at 6:58 pm

Joanna-It is mostly “Nutritious fooods”. In most Food Lion stores, they will have a hang tag by the price tag stating the number of “stars”. Hope that helps, Kathy @ $30 Weekly Grocery Challenge

Hmmm…guess this wouldn’t work as a competitor coupon at Publix…

Are you able to print this more than once? I took the quiz twice and it said I already printed the coupon…wondering if I can only do it once a day, or if it is limited to one per person total. Anyone know?

Jaime July 10, 2009 at 1:14 pm

Jessica you can only print once per computer for all FLIPS, so it’s best to print many at a time just in case. Try printing from a different computer and it should work! I always print out at least 10 at a time, but this particular coupon I printed 30 because there are so many items that are free with this coupon!

How do you print 30 at a time?
