CVS: Free Johnson & Johnson mini First Aid Kids

by crystal on July 20, 2009

Firstaid

This week at CVS, there's an ECB deal going on: Spend $10 on Band-Aid, Johnson & Johnson, or Neosporin Products, Get $5 ECBs (Limit 5).

The Johnson & Johnson First Aid To Go Travel Kids priced at $0.99 are working on this deal. If your store carries these and has a large stock of them, you can get these for free or make money off of them!

Here's how to turn this into money-maker deal:

Buy 11 First Aid Kits at $0.99 each
Use up to 11 $1/1 coupons from the 5/17 RedPlum insert
Free plus up to $5 overage after coupons and ECBs

Remember that you don't have to purchase all of the kits in one transaction. If you're planning to do multiple transactions at CVS this week to make the most of the deals, you could just purchase a few kits per transaction and use the $1/1 coupons to get them free. Once you've purchased a total of 11, your $5 ECB will then print.

Thanks, Shoplifting with Permission!

Thanks! Where do you find all these great deals?

Denise@TogetherWeSave July 20, 2009 at 10:15 am

Thanks for the info.

Can you tell me what the coupon says. Is it specifically for first aide kits? Thanks, I adore you blog! Kris

Good luck at finding 11 of these! Most stores only carry 2 or 3 on the shelf.

These are such a great item to send to send in college or military care packages.

My store had tons on an end cap with signs for 99 cents. I went to CVS yesterday to do my deal, awesome. I was wondering if these counted towards the deal, there was no sign by these like the other items. Not to mention, I didn’t have the right coupons to try. Has anyone actually done it? My kids go trough lots of these, so that is cool. I make them carry one in their backpacks and we keep one in the diaper bags too. I just refill the band-aids thge most.

Just got back from CVS. Mine said “Value Pack” First Aid Kit, meaning that a FREE Neosporin-to-go was packaged in the box, too! Sweet deal! They had only two on the shelf, but maybe I can find a few others at another CVS.

As to the wording on the $1/1 coupon, it says $1 off any Johnson and Johnson Band-aid product. There was a litle yellow tag indicating that they were included in the ECB deal.

Thanks for the link!

I also got Children’s neosporin and neo to go for super cheap/free, depending how you look at it. There were neo coupons for $1/1 a few weeks ago. I had a $5 off CVS coupon, since the items were $6.49 and $6.29, I was able to use my $5 off plus with the $5 ECB and $2 off on coupons, it came to .49 and .29 cents. I bought 2 of the speedstick deodorant on the same transaction as well, so that was .50 overage times 2. That covered the cents from the neosporin. YEAH!!!!

There are Neosporin coupons for $1 off on the Neosporin website. They are bricks, so you can print 2.

Amazingly, I found 9 travel kits at my store, so I used the next cheapest item I could find (J&J first aid tape @ $2.99) to get the total up to $10. I used coupons on all 10 items and got $5 ecb, made a profit of $3.10. :)

liz July 20, 2009 at 10:17 pm

Wow Melissa,
That was great you found 9 at one store!
I hope I have that kind of luck. Maybee I could do 4 per store cuz my cvs usually does not carry more than 5 of any item, but at least we are saturated with cvs’s around here.(Like there are 4 stores 1 block away from each other)
Also I could not imagine any other store allowing you to purchase 10 items and use 10 identical coupons (even though it is legit) other than CVS. They are the best!

queenie July 21, 2009 at 3:43 am

Yes I have done this deal and at all the cvs’s I checked (about 6 or 7 or them) they had signs right on the product stating they are part of the buy $10 get 5 ECB’s back. I had many stores with at least 5 or 6 but the one I bought from had a bout 15! I bought 11 and used 11 Q’s. The interesting thing I notices when I looked at my receipt today is that it says I have a credit towards the next purchase of $10 (because I only needed a few cents from the 11th one to reach $10, the remaining amount is being applied to another purchase.) I do not know how many the limit is, but if you have enough coupons you can do it again! I have to find more Q’s. :)

Jackie July 21, 2009 at 9:44 am

That is the thing, the limit is 5. How awesome is that. You ould actually make $25 if you had all the coupons. So, does anyone know how to get coupons for this?

Julie Cinquina July 21, 2009 at 4:37 pm

That’s pretty cool, but where do you get 11 $1/1 coupons? I would really like to do this.
Thanks,
Julie
