I did a couple of scenarios last night when I heard a coupon was coming, because there are a few things we need and the deal on the 3-in-1 Purex is really good. Come check it out:

I have heard that their $5/$25 coupons are now good only after other coupons have been applied. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes, Walgreens $5/$25 coupons are good only *after* other coupons have been applied…

Here’s my plan: ($9 oop – and $18 RR in return!)

Thanks for your site. I am really enjoying it. I wondered if anyone was taking advantage of the buy 2 Nabisco and 1 milk, get $3 in Register Rewards. Several Nabisco products are on sale for $2.50 this week at our Walgreens. They do have to be about the 16-18 oz size, not the smaller “individual stack” size. I think this runs until 6/27/09. The Nabisco/milk RR, that is.

Does anyone know if the register rewards are considered as coupons, and can your total be $25 before the register rewards?

I posted an update on my scenario:

To answer Kerry’s question: RR are considered coupons (and affect the “number of items per transaction cannot exceed number of items” rule), but some stores allow using RR to pay (like a gift card or ECBs) and do not count them against the $25 total required for this coupon.
